Primary Strategy Portfolio definition

Primary Strategy Portfolio is each Fund, as well as any other series of any other registered investment company for which the Investment Manager serves as the investment manager and for which American Century Investment Services, Inc. serves as the distributor; provided, however, that a registered investment company that invests its assets exclusively in the shares of other registered investment companies shall not be a Primary Strategy Portfolio. Any exceptions to the above requirements shall be approved by the Board of Directors.
Primary Strategy Portfolio is each Fund, as well as any other series of any other registered investment company for which the Investment Manager, or an affiliated investment advisor, serves as the investment manager and for which American Century Investment Services, Inc. serves as the distributor. (4) A “Secondary Strategy Portfolio” of a Fund is another account managed by the Investment Manager that is managed by the same Investment Team but is not a Primary Strategy Portfolio. (5) The “Secondary Strategy Share Ratio” of a Fund is calculated by dividing the net assets of the Fund by the sum of the net assets of the Primary Strategy Portfolios that share a common Investment Strategy. (6) The “Secondary Strategy Assets” of a Fund is the sum of the net assets of the Fund’s Secondary Strategy Portfolios multiplied by the Fund’s Secondary Strategy Share Ratio. (7) The “Investment Strategy Assets” of a Fund is the sum of the net assets of the Fund and the Fund’s Secondary Strategy Assets. (8) The “Per Annum Fee Dollar Amount” is the dollar amount resulting from applying the applicable Fee Schedule for a class of a Fund using the Investment Strategy Assets. (9) The “Per Annum Fee Rate” for a class of a Fund is the percentage rate that results from dividing the Per Annum Fee Dollar Amount for the class of a Fund by the Investment Strategy Assets of the Fund. (c) Daily Management Fee Calculation. For each calendar day, each class of each Fund shall accrue a fee calculated by multiplying the Per Annum Fee Rate for that class by the net assets of the class on that day, and further dividing that product by 365 (366 in leap years). (d)

  • Investment Portfolio means invested assets (including cash and cash equivalents, short-term investments, bonds or other fixed income securities and equity investments).

  • Discretionary Portfolio Management Services means the portfolio management services rendered to the Client by the Portfolio Manager on the terms and conditions contained in the agreement, where under the Portfolio Manager exercises any degree of discretion in the investments or management of assets of the Client.

  • Portfolios means the constituent series of the Fund, but for purposes of this Section 14.1 shall not include Portfolios excepted from the requirements of paragraph (a) of Rule 22c-2 by paragraph (b) of Rule 22c-2.

  • Current Portfolio At any time, the portfolio of Collateral Obligations and Cash and Eligible Investments representing Principal Proceeds (determined in accordance with Section 1.3 to the extent applicable), then held by the Issuer.

  • Non-Discretionary Portfolio Management Services means a portfolio management services under which the Portfolio Manager, subject to express prior instructions issued by the Client from time to time in writing, for an agreed fee structure and for a definite described period, invests in respect of the Client’s account in any type of security entirely at the Client’s risk and ensure that all benefits accrue to the Client’s Portfolio.

  • Treasury Portfolio means, as applicable, the Remarketing Treasury Portfolio or the Special Event Treasury Portfolio.

  • Collateral Portfolio means all right, title, and interest (whether now owned or hereafter acquired or arising, and wherever located) of the Borrower in the property identified below in clauses (i) through (iv) and all accounts, cash and currency, chattel paper, tangible chattel paper, electronic chattel paper, copyrights, copyright licenses, equipment, fixtures, contract rights, general intangibles, instruments, certificates of deposit, certificated securities, uncertificated securities, financial assets, securities entitlements, commercial tort claims, deposit accounts, inventory, investment property, letter-of-credit rights, software, supporting obligations, accessions, or other property consisting of, arising out of, or related to any of the following (in each case excluding the Retained Interest and the Excluded Amounts):

  • Discretionary Portfolio Manager means a Portfolio Manager who exercises or may, under a contract relating to portfolio management, exercise any degree of discretion as to the investments or management of the portfolio of securities or the funds of the Client, as the case may be.

  • Selling Portfolio has the meaning specified in Section 2.10;

  • Mezzanine Investments means debt Securities (including convertible debt Securities (other than the “in-the-money” equity component thereof)) and Preferred Stock in each case (a) issued by public or private issuers, (b) issued without registration under the Securities Act, (c) not issued pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act (or any successor provision thereunder), (d) that are not Cash Equivalents and (e) contractually subordinated in right of payment to other debt of the same issuer.

  • Investment Strategy is the processes and policies implemented by the Investment Manager for pursuing a particular investment objective managed by an Investment Team.

  • Investment Related Property means: (i) all “investment property” (as such term is defined in Article 9 of the UCC) and (ii) all of the following (regardless of whether classified as investment property under the UCC): all Pledged Equity Interests, Pledged Debt, the Investment Accounts and certificates of deposit.

  • Portfolio Data means the Key Terms in relation to all outstanding Trades between you and us in a form and standard that is capable of being reconciled. The information comprising the Portfolio Data for Portfolio Data Delivery Date will be prepared as at the close of business New York time on the immediately preceding Business Day.

  • Investment pool means an entity created under the Texas Gov- ernment Code to invest public funds jointly on behalf of the entities that participate in the pool and whose investment objectives in or- der of priority are preservation and safety of principal, liquidity, and yield.

  • Collateral Management Fee means each of the Senior Management Fee, the Subordinated Management Fee and the Incentive Collateral Management Fee.

  • Mortgage Servicing Rights The rights and responsibilities of Seller with respect to servicing the Mortgage Loans under the Servicing Agreements, including any and all of the following if and to the extent provided therein: (a) all rights to service a Mortgage Loan; (b) all rights to receive servicing fees, Ancillary Income, reimbursements or indemnification for servicing the Mortgage Loan, and any payments received in respect of the foregoing and proceeds thereof; (c) the right to collect, hold and disburse escrow payments or other payments with respect to the Mortgage Loan and any amounts actually collected with respect thereto and to receive interest income on such amounts to the extent permitted by Applicable Law; (d) all accounts and other rights to payment related to any of the property described in this paragraph; (e) possession and use of any and all Credit Files pertaining to the Mortgage Loan or pertaining to the past, present or prospective servicing of the Mortgage Loan; (f) to the extent applicable, all rights and benefits relating to the direct solicitation of the related Mortgagors for refinance or modification of the Mortgage Loans and attendant right, title and interest in and to the list of such Mortgagors and data relating to their respective Mortgage Loans; and (g) all rights, powers and privileges incident to any of the foregoing.

  • Serviced Companion Loan Securities Any commercial mortgage-backed securities that evidence an interest in or are secured by the assets of an Other Securitization Trust, which assets include a Serviced Companion Loan (or a portion thereof or interest therein).

  • Pledged Asset Mortgage Servicing Agreement The Pledged Asset Mortgage Servicing Agreement, dated as of February 28, 1996 between MLCC and the Master Servicer.   • Asset Management Company/UTI AMC/AMC/Investment Manager means the UTI Asset Management Company Limited incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, (1 of 1956) [replaced by The Companies Act, 2013 (No.18 of 2013)] and approved as such by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) under sub-regulation (2) of Regulation 21 to act as the Investment Manager to the schemes of UTI Mutual Fund.

  • Loan Fund means the special fund created by the RECIPIENT for the repayment of the principal of and interest on the loan. “Loan Security” means the mechanism by which the RECIPIENT pledges to repay the loan.

  • Initial Mortgage Loans The Mortgage Loans included in the Trust as of the Closing Date.

  • Purchasing Portfolio has the meaning specified in Section 2.10;

  • Park Sienna Mortgage Loans The Mortgage Loans identified as such on the Mortgage Loan Schedule for which Park Sienna is the applicable Seller.

  • CDO shall have the meaning assigned to such term in the definition of “Qualified Institutional Lender.”
