Examples of Prevention of Corruption Act in a sentence
If the Principal/Owner obtains information on the conduct of any of its employees which is a criminal offence under the Indian Penal code (IPC) / Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (PC Act) or is in violation of the principles herein mentioned or if there be a substantive suspicion in this regard, the Principal / Owner will inform the Chief Vigilance Officer and in addition can also initiate disciplinary actions as per its internal laid down policies and procedures.
The CORPORATION will be entitled to take all or any of the actions mentioned at para 6.1(i) to (x) of this Pact also on the Commission by the TENDERER or any one employed by it or acting on its behalf (whether with or without the knowledge of the TENDERER), of an offence as defined in Chapter IX of the Indian Penal code, 1860 or Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 or any other statute enacted for prevention of corruption.
We undertake that, in competing for (and, if the award is made to us, in executing) the above contract, we will strictly observe the laws against fraud and corruption in India like “The Prevention of Corruption Act 1988” Until a formal contract is prepared and executed, this bid, together with your written acceptance thereof and your notification of award shall constitute a binding contract between us.
The CORPORATION will be entitled to take all or any of the actions mentioned at para 6.1(i) to (x) of this Pact also on the Commission by the BIDDER or any one employed by it or acting on its behalf (whether with or without the knowledge of the BIDDER), of an offence as defined in Chapter IX of the Indian Penal code, 1860 or Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 or any other statute enacted for prevention of corruption.
I/We hereby declare that the amount invested in the scheme is through legitimate sources only and does not involve and is not designed for the purpose of the contravention of any Act, Rules, Regulations, Notifications or Directions of the provisions of the Income Tax Act, Prevention of Money Laundering Act, Prevention of Corruption Act and / or any other applicable laws enacted by the government of India from time to time.
Corrupt or Fraudulent PracticesThe Employer requires the bidders/Contractors to strictly observe the laws against fraud and corruption in force in India, namely, Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
If the BUYER acquires knowledge of conduct of a Bidder/Contractor, or of an employee or a representative or an associate of a Bidder/Contractor which constitutes corruption within the meaning of Prevention of Corruption Act, or if the BUYER has substantive suspicion in this regard, the BUYER will inform the same to the Chief Vigilance Officer.
The BUYER will be entitled to take all or any of the actions mentioned above, also on the Commission by the BIDDER or anyone employed by it or acting on its behalf (whether with or without the knowledge of the BIDDER), of an offence as defined in Chapter IX of the Indian Penal code, 1860 or Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 or any other statute enacted for prevention of corruption.
The Purchaser will be entitled to take all or any of the actions mentioned at para 6.1 (i) to (x) of this Pact also on the Commission by the Tenderer or any one employed by it or acting on its behalf (whether with or without the knowledge of the Tenderer), of an offence as defined in Chapter IX of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 or Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 or any other statute enacted for prevention of corruption.
The BUYER will be entitled to take all or any of the actions mentioned as per above clause - 1 (i) to (xi) of this Pact, also in the event of commission by the BIDDER/ SELLER/ CONTRACTOR/ SERVICE PROVIDER or anyone employed by it or acting on its behalf (whether with or without the knowledge of the BIDDER), of an offence as defined In Chapter IX of the Indian Penal code, 1860 or Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 or any other statute enacted for prevention of corruption.
