Pressure Distribution System definition

Pressure Distribution System means any system designed to uniformly distribute septic tank or other treatment unit effluent under pressure in an absorption facility or treatment unit.
Pressure Distribution System means a network of distribution pipes in which effluent is forced through orifices under pressure. Pressure distribution may be accomplished by use of a pump, siphon device, or other manufactured pressure distribution devices.
Pressure Distribution System means an OSS consisting of a sewage tank and a subsurface soil absorption system with pressure distribution of the effluent. The acceptable design, operation and maintenance, and performance monitoring requirements are described in the current "Recommended Standards and Guidance for Pressure Distribution Systems" published by the Washington State Department of Health.”

More Definitions of Pressure Distribution System

Pressure Distribution System. - means any system designed to uniformly distribute wastewater originating from the septic tank or other treatment unit effluent under pressure in an absorption or treatment facility.
Pressure Distribution System means a soil absorption system that employs a pump or automatic siphon and small diameter distribution pipping with small diameter perforations to introduce effluent into the soil. Plan review and departmental approval is required for each system of this type. Approval will only be given on a case by case basis. Approval shall only be given on an individual basis.
Pressure Distribution System means any system designed to uniformly distribute septic tank or other treatment unit effluent under pressure in an absorption facility or sand filter. (See Diagrams 6 and 7)
Pressure Distribution System means a system of small diameter pipes equally distributing effluent throughout a subsurface soil absorption system.
Pressure Distribution System means a distribution system designed such that a pump or siphon supplies septic tank effluent to non-perforated pipe that is drilled with holes of such diameter and spacing that the top header, full length of all interconnecting pipes, and the bottom header are under a positive pressure;

Related to Pressure Distribution System

  • Distribution System means the system of wires and associated facilities between the delivery points on the transmission lines or the generating station connection and the point of connection to the installation of the consumers;

  • Electric distribution system means the facilities and equipment owned and operated by the EDC and used to transmit electricity to ultimate usage points such as homes and industries from interchanges with higher voltage transmission networks that transport bulk power over longer distances. The voltage levels at which electric distribution systems operate differ among areas, but generally operate at less than 100 kilovolts of electricity. "Electric distribution system" has the same meaning as the term "Area EPS", as defined in Section 3.1.6.1 of IEEE Standard 1547.

  • Water distribution system means that portion of the water supply system in which water is conveyed from the water treatment plant or other supply point to the premises of the consumer.

  • distribution system operator means a natural or legal person responsible for operating, ensuring the maintenance of and, if necessary, developing the distribution system in a given area and, where applicable, its interconnections with other systems and for ensuring the long-term ability of the system to meet reasonable demands for the distribution of electricity;

  • Centralized Message Distribution System (CMDS) means the transport system that LECs use to exchange outcollect and Carrier Access Billing System “CABS” access messages among each other and other Parties connected to CMDS.
