Prerequisite Programs definition

Prerequisite Programs means the universal procedures used to control conditions in a plant that contribute to the overall safety of the product. They include and reference the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and other programs that address operational conditions and provide the foundation for the HACCP System.
Prerequisite Programs means universal steps or procedures that control the operational conditions which within a food facility and promotes environmental conditions that are favourable for the production of safe food.
