Prepackaged definition

Prepackaged means packaged prior to being displayed or offered for sale.

Prepackaged or "Prepackaging" means the act of transferring a drug, manually or by use of an automated pharmacy system, from a manufacturer's or distributor's original container to another container in advance of receiving a prescription drug order or for a patient's immediate need for dispensing by a pharmacy or practitioner authorized to dispense in the establishment where the prepackaging occurred.

Prepackaged means packaged or made up in advance in a container, ready for offer to the consumer, or for catering purposes.

Prepackaged means bottled, canned, cartoned, securely bagged or securely wrapped, whether packaged in a food establishment or a food processing plant. It does not include a wrapper, carryout box or other nondurable container used to containerize food with the purpose of facilitating food protection during service and receipt of the food by the consumer.
