Prehospital care definition

Prehospital care means care rendered by emergency medical services providers as an incident of the operation of an ambulance and care rendered by emergency medical services providers as incidents of other public or private safety duties, and includes, but is not limited to, “emergency care.”
Prehospital care means the provision of emergency medical services or transportation by trained and certified or licensed emergency medical services personnel at the scene or while transporting sick or injured persons to a hospital or other emergency medical facility; and
