Predesign definition

Predesign means the stage in the development of a project during which the purpose, scope, cost, and schedule of the complete project are defined and instructions to design professionals are produced.

Examples of Predesign in a sentence

  • The Design Professional shall not proceed with the performance of any professional services until he shall have received from the Owner a copy of the Predesign Study, including all revisions, or Program that has been received by the Office of Planning and Budget, State of Georgia, and determined to be sufficient.

  • The written and graphical definition of the Project’s space requirements provided by the Owner to the Design Professional (normally part of Predesign Study).

  • The Design Professional shall review the Predesign Study with the Owner to confirm its understanding of the Owner’s requirements.

  • The Design Professional will design the Project in accordance with the Owner’s Predesign Study, if any, as amended, a copy of which is included as Exhibit C and is incorporated into and made a part of this document by reference.

  • The Owner shall provide the Design Professional with the Predesign Study, if any, as amended.

  • If extensive changes from the Predesign Study are required, the Design Professional’s compensation and schedule may be equitably adjusted.

  • In the event no Predesign Study is available, the Owner shall provide the Design Professional with a Program that describes the Owner’s objectives, schedule, constraints, and criteria, including space requirements and relationships, special equipment, systems and Site requirements.

  • In the event the Predesign Study or Program is more than one year old, or the program requirements or assumptions have changed from those utilized in the Predesign Study the Design Professional shall consult with the Owner in order to update the Predesign Study or Program, if required, as an Additional Service.

  • If no Predesign Study is available, the Design Professional will design the Project in accordance with the Owner’s Program shown in Exhibit C.

  • If the Predesign Study is updated, it must be forwarded to Office of Planning and Budget for review.

Related to Predesign

  • Feature means a distinguishable software function included in the Software and as further detailed in Schedule 3 and the Product Handbook. Various Features may be grouped together in Feature Packs.

  • Indicator means a quantitative or qualitative factor or variable that contributes to better understanding progress in implementing;

  • Performance Indicator means a measure of HSP performance for which a Performance Target is set; technical specifications of specific Performance Indicators can be found in the MSAA Indicator Technical Specifications document;

  • Performance Indicators means the indicators for Project monitoring and evaluation set forth in the Operational Manual.

  • Managed Device means any device on which any Affiliate in the Enterprise directly or indirectly controls one or more operating system environments. Examples of Managed Devices can be found in the Product Terms.
