Pre-commissioning: preparation of a system or systems for the commissioning phase.
Before COD, Party B shall participate in the Pre-commissioning tests and Commissioning activities of the IICC venue as a part of Party A’s team.
To avoid uncertainties, the costs incurred to Party B from the Pre-commissioning tests and Commissioning activities are to be borne by Party B.
Pre-commissioning includes tests, inspections, cleaning and other activities which are carried out after construction completion for a given system/subsystem has been achieved, at ambient temperature and without the presence of process fluids.
Pre-commissioning and trial run shall be undertaken as specified in Technical Specifications covered under section Schedule 24 of this document.
