Pre-existing Medical Condition definition

Pre-existing Medical Condition means any condition which:

Examples of Pre-existing Medical Condition in a sentence

  • For any surgery or medical treatment for a Pre-Existing Medical Condition, which is not directly related to or arising from the COVID-19 infection.

  • Any illness or disease, Pre-Existing Medical Condition, compulsory quarantine, strike or other industrial action, adverse weather condition existing at the time of application for this insurance.

  • This definition of Pre-Existing Medical Condition shall also apply to Your Immediate Family Member or Travelling Companion or any person upon whose good health Your Trip depends.


More Definitions of Pre-existing Medical Condition

Pre-existing Medical Condition means any condition for which the Insured Person received medical treatment, diagnosis, consultation or prescribed drugs within a 12-month period preceding the effective date of the Policy; or for which medical advice or treatment was recommended by a Qualified Medical Practitioner within a 12-month period preceding the effective date of the Policy.

It may not apply to a loss incurred beginning after the end of a continuous period of 365 days beginning on or after the effective date of coverage under the plan, during which time the Insured did not receive medical advice or treatment in connection with the Injury, Sickness or other physical condition.
