Pre-Candidate Product definition

Pre-Candidate Product means a product developed by Cellectis as per the Original Agreement and/or this Agreement, consisting in an allogenic anti-tumor adoptive T-cell expressing a single chain chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) directed against a particular Target including specific Attributes.

Examples of Pre-Candidate Product in a sentence

  • For sake of clarity, for any Development of a Pre-Candidate Product and Candidate Product not initially planned in the Development Plan, the Parties shall meet in order to define the technical and financial conditions for such additional Development.

  • In any case in which Cellectis engaged a Third Party subcontractor, Cellectis will contractually agree to obtain sole ownership or secure a license (with the right to grant sublicenses) of all inventions, data, information developed by such Third Party subcontractor necessary for the Development of Pre-Candidate Product, Candidate Product or Product(s).

  • Upon such decision of the JSC, the Substitute Product or the Subsequent Product will be considered as a Pre-Candidate Product or Candidate Product and any and all terms and conditions (except the financial ones as stated in Exhibit 1) related to a Pre-Candidate Product or Candidate Product provided in the present Agreement will apply to the Substitute Product or the Subsequent Product.

  • With respect to Patents within the Cellectis Patents that cover specifically and solely a Candidate Product or a Product (“Product Patents”), Cellectis remains solely responsible for preparing, filing, prosecuting, and maintaining Product Patents aiming to cover a Pre-Candidate Product, Candidate Product and/or Product in [***] (“Initial Countries”) at its own costs up to the exercise of the Option to License for the corresponding Candidate Product.

  • For sake of clarity, Servier has no obligation to turn any Pre-Candidate Product into a Candidate Product and as a consequence has no obligation to pay the Milestone event “[***]” for a Pre-Candidate Product not turned into a Candidate Product.

Related to Pre-Candidate Product

  • Product Candidate means any pharmaceutical product developed, manufactured and/or tested by or on behalf of the Company that has not received a Regulatory Authorization for commercial distribution other than in connection with pre-clinical or clinical trials.

  • New Product means the Synology-branded hardware product and Synology-branded accessories contained in the original packaging Customer bought from an authorized Synology distributor or reseller. You may see our “New Product” at Product Support Status.

  • Development Candidate means a Collaboration Compound designated by Biogen Idec as a Development Candidate in accordance with Section 2.6.

  • Licensed Compound means [***].

  • Collaboration Compound means any of the following: (a) FG-4592, (b) any HIF Compound (other than FG-4592) that is added to this Agreement pursuant to Section 3.6, and (c) any salts, esters, complexes, chelates, crystalline and amorphous morphic forms, pegylated forms, enantiomers (excluding regioisomers), prodrugs, solvates, metabolites and catabolites of any of the foregoing ((a) or (b)).

  • Licensed Compounds means any EZH2 Compound(s) that is:

  • Collaboration Product means a pharmaceutical product containing or comprising Compound in any dosage form alone, or in combination with, one or more other pharmaceutically active ingredients, and any and all Improvements thereto.

  • Nicotine product means a product that contains nicotine and is not any of the following:

  • Back-Up Compound means, with reference to any particular Development Candidate or Drug Product Candidate, a Compound which (a) has the same principal mode of action (i.e., Potentiator or Corrector) as that Development Candidate or Drug Product Candidate; and (b) was among the group of Compounds, identified by VERTEX as potential additional lead molecules having the same principal mode of action, from which the Development Candidate was selected.

  • Hemp product means the same as that term is defined in § 3.2-4112.

  • Lead Compound means any compound of lead other than galena which, when treated in the manner described below, yields to an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid a quantity soluble lead compound exceeding, when calculated as lead monoxide, five percent of the dry weight of the portion taken analysis.

  • Licensed Product means a product, method or service in the Licensed Field of Use, the making, having made, using, importing or selling of which, absent this license, infringes, induces infringement, or contributes to infringement of a Licensed Patent.

  • Collaboration Target means the Initial Collaboration Targets set forth on Exhibit F and any Additional Target or Substitute Target that is selected in accordance with Section 3.3 of this Agreement.

  • Diagnostic Product means any test or assay for diagnosing or detecting a disease, disorder, medical condition, or symptom.

  • Alternative nicotine product means any vaping product, whether or not it includes nicotine, including electronic smoking devices, that can be ingested into the body by chewing, smoking, absorbing, dissolving, inhaling, or by any other means. ‘Alternative nicotine product’ does not include:

  • Biosimilar Product means, with respect to a Licensed Product in any country, any biosimilar product sold by a Third Party not authorized by or on behalf of Celgene, its Affiliates or Sublicensees, (a) that is a biosimilar biological product, as defined in 21 USC 379j-51 (or any successor or replacement thereof), a similar biological medicinal product, as defined in Annex I to Directive 2001/83/EC (or any successor or replacement thereof), or any similar biosimilar or generic product under the Laws of any country or jurisdiction, or (b) regarding which Regulatory Approval is obtained by referencing Regulatory Data of such Licensed Product.

  • Drug Product means a specific drug in dosage form from a known source of manufacture, whether

  • Phase I Clinical Study means a human clinical study of a product, the principal purpose of which is a preliminary determination of safety in healthy individuals or patients, as described in 21 C.F.R. 312.21(a).

  • Clinical Study means a Phase I Study, Phase II Study, Phase III Study, or Pivotal Study, as applicable; but excluding any Post-Approval Studies.

  • Phase III Clinical Study means a human clinical study of a product on a sufficient number of subjects that is designed to establish that such product is safe and efficacious for its intended use, and to determine warnings, precautions, and adverse reactions that are associated with such product in the dosage range to be prescribed, which trial is intended to support Regulatory Approval of such product, as described in 21 C.F.R. 312.21(c). 1.185.   • Existing Product means any formulation of the same product category and form sold, supplied, manufactured, or offered for sale in California prior to the following dates, or any subsequently introduced identical formulation:

  • Milk product or "dairy product" means cottage cheese, dry curd cottage cheese, reduced fat cottage cheese, lowfat cottage cheese, cream, light cream, light whipping cream, heavy cream, heavy whipping cream, whipped cream, whipped light cream, sour cream, acidified sour cream, cultured sour cream, half-and-half, sour half-and-half, acidified sour half-and-half, cultured sour half-and-half, reconstituted or recombined milk and milk products, concentrated milk, concentrated milk products, skim milk, lowfat milk, frozen milk concentrate, flavored milk, eggnog, buttermilk, cultured milk, cultured lowfat milk, cultured skim milk, yogurt, lowfat yogurt, nonfat yogurt, acidified milk, acidified lowfat milk, acidified skim milk, low-sodium milk, low-sodium lowfat milk, low-sodium skim milk, lactose-reduced milk, lactose-reduced lowfat milk, lactose-reduced skim milk, aseptically processed and packaged milk, milk products with added safe and suitable microbial organisms, and any other milk product made by the addition or subtraction of milkfat or addition of safe and suitable optional ingredients for protein, vitamin, or mineral fortification. Unless a product is considered a milk product under this subdivision, milk product does not include dietary products, infant formula, ice cream or other desserts, cheese, or butter. Milk products include the following:

  • Generic Product means any pharmaceutical product that (i) is sold by a Third Party that is not an Affiliate or licensee of Buyer and (ii) (a) contains the same active pharmaceutical ingredient as the Product or (b) is categorized by the applicable Governmental Entity in a country to be therapeutically equivalent to, or interchangeable with, the Product, such that the pharmaceutical product may be substituted for the Product at the point of dispensing without any intervention by the prescribing physician in such country.

  • Compound means the taking of two or more ingredients and fabricating them into a single

  • Combination Product means any product that comprises a Licensed Compound or Licensed Product sold in conjunction with another active component so as to be a combination product (whether packaged together or in the same therapeutic formulation).

  • Bundled Product means Product sold together with any other product(s) or service(s) at a single unit price, whether packaged together or separately, and which other product(s) or service(s) have material independent value from Product itself.
