PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits definition

PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits means the benefits accrued by Participants in accordance with Section 3.05 of the Plan that would have been provided under the PPA Component of the Dow Employees' Pension Plan but for the statutory limitations in Code sections 415 and 401(a)(17) and based upon the alternative definition of Compensation, as applicable, provided in this Plan.
PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits means the benefits accrued by Participants in accordance with Section 3.2 of the Plan that would have been provided under the PPA Component but for the limitations in sections 401(a)(17) and 415 of the Code.
PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits means the benefits accrued by Participants in accordance with Section 3.2 that would have been provided under the PPA Component but for the limitations in Code sections 401(a)(17) and 415; provided, that no Participant shall accrue additional benefits under the Plan on or after January 1, 2024.

Examples of PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits in a sentence

  • A Participant's vested PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits payable under the Plan shall be paid in the form of a single lump sum payment following the Participant's Separation from Service.

  • A Participant’s vested PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits accrued under the Plan shall be payable in the seventh month following the Participant’s Separation from Service.

  • The facility Privacy Officer will conduct privacy training at all facility New Employee Orientation (NEO) programs.

  • In the event of a Participant’s death before the month in which benefit payments commence under Section 4.2, death benefits equal to the Participant’s vested DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits and vested PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits shall be paid in the first month following the month in which the Participant dies.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event of a Change of Control, a Participant’s vested DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefit and vested PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits accrued under this Plan shall become payable immediately and shall be paid as a single lump sum payment within 90 days after the Change of Control, provided that the Participant shall not be able to designate the tax year in which such lump sum payment will occur.

  • In accordance with the authenticity and health of the planting material, the seed must be certified for quality standards.

  • With respect to Participants who received a single lump-sum payment in connection with the change of control resulting from the Orion Merger, the amount of PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits shall be calculated under the formula set forth in Section 3.2(a) using only Pay Credits and Interest Credits that have accrued after such change of control.

  • The Guaranteed Payout amount shall be paid to the Participant's remaining Beneficiary as determined in Section 1.3.(b) PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits A Participant’s vested PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits payable under the Plan shall be paid in the form of a single lump sum payment following the Participant’s Separation from Service.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event of a Change of Control, a Participant’s vested DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefit and vested PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits accrued under this Plan shall become payable immediately and shall be paid as a single lump sum payment within 90 days after the Change of Control; provided, that the Participant shall not be able to designate the tax year in which such lump sum payment will occur.

  • A Participant’s vested PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits payable under the Plan shall be paid in the form of a single lump sum payment following the Participant’s Separation from Service.

Related to PPA Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits

  • Supplemental Retirement Benefit means the benefit determined under Article V of this Plan.

  • Supplemental Retirement Plan means (i) the Company’s Amended and Restated Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan, (ii) the Company’s Supplemental Management Retirement Plan, (iii) the Company’s Amended and Restated Top Hat Restoration Plan, and (iv) the Company’s Defined Contribution Restoration Plan.

  • Additional gap medical benefits means the benefits (if any) payable in respect of medical expenses that are more than the schedule fee and which otherwise meet the requirements of the fund’s no or known gap policy, provided always that the medical expenses relate to a professional service that:

  • Pre-Retirement Survivor Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 6.

  • Supplemental Benefit means the monthly benefit payable to the Executive under this Agreement.

  • Normal Retirement Benefit means the benefit described in Section 2.1.

  • Retirement Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 5.

  • Early Retirement Benefit means the retirement benefit payable to a member following early

  • Termination Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 7.

  • Net Benefits Test means a calculation to determine whether the benefits of a reduction in price resulting from the dispatch of Economic Load Response exceeds the cost to other loads resulting from the billing unit effects of the load reduction, as specified in Operating Agreement, Schedule 1, section 3.3A.4 and the parallel provisions of Tariff, Attachment K-Appendix, section 3.3A.4.

  • Disability Support Pension means the Commonwealth pension scheme to provide income security for persons with a disability as provided under the Social Security Act 1991, as amended from time to time, or any successor to that scheme.

  • Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit means an annual amount (before taking into account federal and state income taxes), payable in monthly installments throughout the Payout Period. Such benefit is projected pursuant to the Agreement for the purpose of determining the Contributions to be made to the Retirement Income Trust Fund (or Phantom Contributions to be recorded in the Accrued Benefit Account). The annual Contributions and Phantom Contributions have been actuarially determined, using the assumptions set forth in Exhibit A, in order to fund for the projected Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit. The Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit for which Contributions (or Phantom Contributions) are being made (or recorded) is set forth in Exhibit A.

  • Death Benefit means the insurance amount payable under the Certificate at death of the Insured, subject to all Certificate provisions dealing with changes in the amount of insurance and reductions or termination for age or retirement. It does not include any amount that is only payable in the event of Accidental Death.

  • Additional Compensation has the meaning given to it in Section 10.2;

  • Retirement Benefits means benefits paid by reference to reaching, or the expectation of reaching, retirement or, where they are supplementary to those benefits and provided on an ancillary basis, in the form of payments on death, disability, or cessation of employment or in the form of support payments or services in case of sickness, indigence or death. In order to facilitate financial security in retirement, these benefits may take the form of payments for life, payments made for a temporary period, a lump sum, or any combination thereof;

  • Deferred Retirement Date means, in the case of any Participant who continues in employment after his Normal Retirement Date, the first day of any month following his actual retirement.

  • Medical Benefits Schedule means the Medicare Schedule of Benefits produced by the Department of Health to which all fees and benefits relate for inpatient hospital services.

  • Qualified Preretirement Survivor Annuity means an annuity which is payable for the life of the Participant's surviving spouse.

  • Qualifying Retirement means the Employee’s voluntary termination of employment after the Employee has (i) attained (X) age sixty-five (65), (Y) age fifty-five (55) with ten (10) Years of Service as a full-time employee of the Partnership or any of its Affiliates, or (Z) an age which, when added to such Years of Service of the Employee equals at least seventy-five (75), and (ii) previously delivered a written notice of retirement to the Partnership and on the date of retirement the Employee has satisfied the minimum applicable advance written notice requirement set forth below: Age at Voluntary Termination Number of Years of Advance Notice 58 or younger 59 60 or older 3 years 2 years 1 year By way of illustration, and without limiting the foregoing, if (i) the Employee is eligible to retire at age fifty-nine (59) after ten (10) Years of Service, (ii) the Employee gives two (2) years notice at age fifty-eight (58) that the Employee intends to retire at age sixty (60), and (iii) the Employee later terminates employment at age fifty-nine (59), then the Employee’s retirement at age fifty-nine (59) would not constitute a Qualifying Retirement. However, if (i) the Employee is eligible to retire at age fifty-nine (59) after ten (10) Years of Service, (ii) the Employee gives two (2) years notice at age fifty-eight (58) that the Employee intends to retire at age sixty (60), and (iii) the Employee terminates employment upon reaching age sixty (60), then the Employee’s retirement at age sixty (60) would constitute a Qualifying Retirement.

  • Benefit Commencement Date means, for any Participant or beneficiary, the date as of which the first benefit payment, including a single sum, from the Participant’s Account is due, other than pursuant to a withdrawal under Article VIII.

  • Disability Retirement Date means the first day of the month following the last day of paid employment;

  • Accrued Benefit means the amount standing in a Participant's Account(s) as of any date derived from both Employer contributions and Employee contributions, if any.

  • Last Monthly Benefit means the gross Monthly Benefit payable to the Insured Employee immediately prior to death. Any reductions for Other Income Benefits, or for earnings the Insured Employee received for Partial Disability Employment, will not apply.

  • Monthly Benefit means the monthly amount payable by Liberty to you if you are Disabled or Partially Disabled.

  • extended reduction (qualifying contributory benefits means a reduction under this scheme for which a person is eligible in accordance with paragraph 88 or 95;

  • Additional Special Servicing Compensation As defined in Section 3.11(d).
