Power and Energy Supply Contract definition

Power and Energy Supply Contract means the Power Purchase and Sale Agreement by and between Grand River Dam Authority and the City of Coffeyville Kansas Effective as of August 1, 2007 (attached hereto as Exhibit 2), or any subsequent power and energy supply contracts executed by the City to serve the Facility.

  • Pursuant to the SPP Network Integration Transmission Service Agreement, the City will have available for the delivery of the City’s entitlements (which would include electric power and energy up to the then current electric demand of the Facility) under the Power and Energy Supply Contract.

  • In the event power and energy cease to be available under the Power and Energy Supply Contract, the City shall use its best effort in good faith to obtain power and energy at the lowest price available delivered to the delivery point(s) on the GRDA, SWEPCO or PSO systems of SPP, consistent with the City’s best judgment as to the reliability of the supplier, and upon such other terms and conditions as the City may reasonably require.

  • Such action could also result in lawsuits for fraud and lost profits by Thompson.

  • No later than six (6) months prior to the termination or expiration of any existing Power and Energy Supply Contract, Coffeyville Resources will deliver to the City a written forecast of its estimated monthly power and energy requirements for the Facility for the ten (10) year period beginning with the expiration date of the existing Power and Energy Supply Contract.

  • The City shall not amend any Facility related provisions of the Power and Energy Supply Contract that are within the sole control of the City without written concurrence from Coffeyville Resources.

  • Interconnection Agreements means, collectively, (a) an agreement by and among Owner, TransÉnergie and ISO-NE that sets forth such parties’ respective rights and obligations following the interconnection at the U.S. Border of the NECEC Transmission Line with the Québec Line and (b) an agreement by and between Owner and ISO-NE that sets forth such parties’ respective rights and obligations following the interconnection at the Delivery Point of the NECEC Transmission Line with certain transmission facilities operated by ISO-NE. The Interconnection Agreements shall address cost responsibilities among entities other than the Distribution Company and the other RFP Sponsors and shall include provisions, both technical and otherwise, for safe and reliable interconnected operations of the HVDC Transmission Project following Commercial Operation (including use of the HVDC Transmission Project for the delivery of electric power in emergency circumstances).

  • Interconnection Agreement means the interconnection agreement entered into by Seller pursuant to which the Facility will be interconnected with the Transmission System, and pursuant to which Seller’s Interconnection Facilities and any other Interconnection Facilities will be constructed, operated and maintained during the Contract Term.

  • Generation Interconnection Agreement means the generation interconnection agreement to be entered into separately between Seller and PGE, providing for the construction, operation, and maintenance of interconnection facilities required to accommodate deliveries of Seller's Net Output.

  • Interconnection Construction Service Agreement means the agreement entered into by an Interconnection Customer, Interconnected Transmission Owner and the Transmission Provider pursuant to Tariff, Part VI, Subpart B and in the form set forth in Tariff, Attachment P, relating to construction of Attachment Facilities, Network Upgrades, and/or Local Upgrades and coordination of the construction and interconnection of an associated Customer Facility. A separate Interconnection Construction Service Agreement will be executed with each Transmission Owner that is responsible for construction of any Attachment Facilities, Network Upgrades, or Local Upgrades associated with interconnection of a Customer Facility. Interconnection Customer:

  • energy management system means a set of interrelated or interacting elements of a plan which sets an energy efficiency objective and a strategy to achieve that objective;

  • Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) means the rechargeable energy storage system that provides electric energy for electrical propulsion.

  • Net energy metering means the difference between the kilowatt-hours consumed by a customer-generator and the kilowatt-hours generated by the customer- generator's facility over any time period determined as if measured by a single meter capable of registering the flow of electricity in two directions.

  • Interconnection arrangements means arrangements governing the physical connection of two or more networks to allow the use of another's network to hand off traffic where it is ultimately delivered (e.g., connection of a customer of telephone provider A to a customer of telephone company B) or sharing data and other information resources.

  • Supply Contracts means contracts having as their object the purchase, lease, rental or hire-purchase, with or without an option to buy, of products. A supply contract may include, as an incidental matter, siting and installation operations;

  • PJM Interchange Energy Market means the regional competitive market administered by the Office of the Interconnection for the purchase and sale of spot electric energy at wholesale in interstate commerce and related services established pursuant to Operating Agreement, Schedule 1, and the parallel provisions of Tariff, Attachment K - Appendix. PJM Interchange Export:

  • Pipeline means any pipe, pipes, or pipelines used for the intrastate transportation or transmission of any solid, liquid, or gaseous substance, except water.

  • Connection Agreement means an agreement entered into between a distributor and a person connected to its distribution system that delineates the conditions of the connection and delivery of electricity to or from that connection;

  • Transportation Service Agreement means the contract between KUB and the Customer whereby KUB agrees to provide transportation gas service to the Customer.

  • Renewable energy means the grid quality electricity generated from renewable energy sources;

  • Connection Contract means a contract under which Distributed Generation is connected to the Network entered into by the Distributor and a Distributed Generator in accordance with Part 6 of the Code, and, for the purposes of this Agreement, the Distributor and a Distributed Generator are deemed to have entered into a Connection Contract if the regulated terms in Part 6 of the Code apply;
