Point of Hire definition

Point of Hire means the physical location from which a Crew is hired, which may be the Designated Dispatch Location, an Incident managed by the Government, or another location agreed upon by Contractor and Government.
Point of Hire is the closest capital city to the employee’s usual place of residence as stipulated in the Registration of Interest form.
Point of Hire means the place or community within British Columbia where the Employee resides.

Examples of Point of Hire in a sentence

  • No payment for travel to an Incident or point of inspection, or return to the Point of Hire, will be made for equipment that does not pass inspection.

  • The time under hire shall start at the time the equipment begins traveling to the incident after being ordered by the Government, and end at the estimated time of arrival back to the Point of Hire after being released, except as provided in Clause 7 of these General Xxxxxxx.

  • Payment for availability, flight time and FSV mileage begins when the aircraft starts its mobilization flight from the Contractors Base of Operations or the Aircraft’s Point of Hire, whichever is less, to the Assigned Work Location and ends upon arrival at the Assigned Work Location (including airports, etc.).

More Definitions of Point of Hire

Point of Hire means where the Employee resides, or other such location that may be agreed to between the Employer and the Council.

Reg. 419 on Upper Risk Thresholds)", dated February 2008, as amended.
