PoC Compound definition

PoC Compound means a Collaboration Compound resulting from PoC Trials that the JRC (or GSK pursuant to Section 3.1.4(a)) determines has satisfied the PoC Compound Criteria.
PoC Compound means a Candidate Selection Compound that has met the PoC Criteria, as determined by the JSC pursuant to Section 3.6.3.
PoC Compound means a given Research Program Development Candidate or Tail Compound, as applicable, which is the subject of a POC Trial.

Examples of PoC Compound in a sentence

  • In the event that the PoC Option Deadline Period expires without GSK having exercised its PoC Option with respect to a particular PoC Compound, Anacor shall have the exclusive right, at its sole discretion, to develop such PoC Compound in the Territory in the Field as an Anacor Development Compound and a Product, alone or with any Third Party or through any Sublicensee.

  • If the JSC determines that such Candidate Selection Compound satisfies the PoC Criteria pursuant to Section 3.6.3, the Candidate Selection Compound will be deemed a PoC Compound.

  • Upon Medicis’s exercise of its PoC Option, (i) each such PoC Compound, Provisional Back-Up Compound, Back-Up Compound and Lead Back-Up Compound (but no more than [ * ] such compounds in total at any particular time) shall be deemed a Medicis Development Compound and (ii) Anacor shall deliver to Medicis the items required by Section 4.4, Section 2.9.3 and Exhibit 6 with respect to such Medicis Development Compounds.

  • If Medicis has the right to terminate this Agreement under this Section during the Research Collaboration Term and prior to the JRC’s confirmation of a PoC Compound, then in lieu of terminating the Agreement, Medicis may instead terminate only the Research Collaboration Term, in which case all Collaboration Compounds identified prior to said termination date shall be deemed to be Medicis Development Compounds.

  • The Candidate Selection Criteria and PoC Compound Criteria may be amended by the Parties as set forth in Section 3.1.4(c).

  • Lead Compound means any compound of lead other than galena which, when treated in the manner described below, yields to an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid a quantity soluble lead compound exceeding, when calculated as lead monoxide, five percent of the dry weight of the portion taken analysis.

  • Collaboration Compound means any of the following: (a) FG-4592, (b) any HIF Compound (other than FG-4592) that is added to this Agreement pursuant to Section 3.6, and (c) any salts, esters, complexes, chelates, crystalline and amorphous morphic forms, pegylated forms, enantiomers (excluding regioisomers), prodrugs, solvates, metabolites and catabolites of any of the foregoing ((a) or (b)).

  • Back-Up Compound means, with reference to any particular Development Candidate or Drug Product Candidate, a Compound which (a) has the same principal mode of action (i.e., Potentiator or Corrector) as that Development Candidate or Drug Product Candidate; and (b) was among the group of Compounds, identified by VERTEX as potential additional lead molecules having the same principal mode of action, from which the Development Candidate was selected.

  • Licensed Compound means [***].

  • Product Candidate means any pharmaceutical product developed, manufactured and/or tested by or on behalf of the Company that has not received a Regulatory Authorization for commercial distribution other than in connection with pre-clinical or clinical trials.

  • Licensed Compounds means any EZH2 Compound(s) that is:

  • Compound means the taking of two or more ingredients and fabricating them into a single

  • Development Candidate means a Collaboration Compound designated by Biogen Idec as a Development Candidate in accordance with Section 2.6.

  • Collaboration Target means the Initial Collaboration Targets set forth on Exhibit F and any Additional Target or Substitute Target that is selected in accordance with Section 3.3 of this Agreement.

  • Collaboration Product means a pharmaceutical product containing or comprising Compound in any dosage form alone, or in combination with, one or more other pharmaceutically active ingredients, and any and all Improvements thereto.

  • Diagnostic Product means any test or assay for diagnosing or detecting a disease, disorder, medical condition, or symptom.

  • Exempt compound means the same as defined in Rule 2.

  • Compounds means any or all of the following chemicals, as the context requires:

  • Hemp product means the same as that term is defined in § 3.2-4112.

  • Licensed Product means a product, method or service in the Licensed Field of Use, the making, having made, using, importing or selling of which, absent this license, infringes, induces infringement, or contributes to infringement of a Licensed Patent.

  • New Product means the Synology-branded hardware product and Synology-branded accessories contained in the original packaging Customer bought from an authorized Synology distributor or reseller. You may see our “New Product” at Product Support Status.

  • Milk product or "dairy product" means cottage cheese, dry curd cottage cheese, reduced fat cottage cheese, lowfat cottage cheese, cream, light cream, light whipping cream, heavy cream, heavy whipping cream, whipped cream, whipped light cream, sour cream, acidified sour cream, cultured sour cream, half-and-half, sour half-and-half, acidified sour half-and-half, cultured sour half-and-half, reconstituted or recombined milk and milk products, concentrated milk, concentrated milk products, skim milk, lowfat milk, frozen milk concentrate, flavored milk, eggnog, buttermilk, cultured milk, cultured lowfat milk, cultured skim milk, yogurt, lowfat yogurt, nonfat yogurt, acidified milk, acidified lowfat milk, acidified skim milk, low-sodium milk, low-sodium lowfat milk, low-sodium skim milk, lactose-reduced milk, lactose-reduced lowfat milk, lactose-reduced skim milk, aseptically processed and packaged milk, milk products with added safe and suitable microbial organisms, and any other milk product made by the addition or subtraction of milkfat or addition of safe and suitable optional ingredients for protein, vitamin, or mineral fortification. Unless a product is considered a milk product under this subdivision, milk product does not include dietary products, infant formula, ice cream or other desserts, cheese, or butter.   • Combination Product means any product that comprises a Licensed Compound or Licensed Product sold in conjunction with another active component so as to be a combination product (whether packaged together or in the same therapeutic formulation).

  • Drug Product means a specific drug in dosage form from a known source of manufacture, whether

  • Commercialization or “Commercialize” means activities directed to marketing, promoting, research and development as required, manufacturing for sale, offering for sale, distributing, importing or selling a product, including sub-licensing or sub-contracting of these activities.

  • Development Milestone Event has the meaning set forth in Section 7.1.

  • Biosimilar Product means, with respect to a Licensed Product in any country, any biosimilar product sold by a Third Party not authorized by or on behalf of Celgene, its Affiliates or Sublicensees, (a) that is a biosimilar biological product, as defined in 21 USC 379j-51 (or any successor or replacement thereof), a similar biological medicinal product, as defined in Annex I to Directive 2001/83/EC (or any successor or replacement thereof), or any similar biosimilar or generic product under the Laws of any country or jurisdiction, or (b) regarding which Regulatory Approval is obtained by referencing Regulatory Data of such Licensed Product.

  • Cannabis product means cannabis that has undergone a process whereby the plant material has been transformed into a concentrate, including, but not limited to, concentrated cannabis, or an edible or topical product containing cannabis or concentrated cannabis and other ingredients.

  • Generic Product means any pharmaceutical product that (i) is sold by a Third Party that is not an Affiliate or licensee of Buyer and (ii) (a) contains the same active pharmaceutical ingredient as the Product or (b) is categorized by the applicable Governmental Entity in a country to be therapeutically equivalent to, or interchangeable with, the Product, such that the pharmaceutical product may be substituted for the Product at the point of dispensing without any intervention by the prescribing physician in such country.
