Plugging and Abandonment Obligations means all usual and normal prudent operations for the plugging, abandonment, surface restoration, site clearance, and disposal of related waste materials, including NORM and asbestos, of all oil, gas, injection, water or other xxxxx, sumps, pits, ponds, tanks, impoundments, foundations, pipelines, structures and equipment of any kind or description on the Assets, in compliance with all applicable contractual obligations and applicable rules and regulations of governmental bodies having jurisdiction over the Assets. Plugging and Abandonment Obligations do not include cleanup of polluted lands, air or water other than routine cleanup normally associated with plugging and abandonment, such cleanup obligations which are other than routine being included within the definition of Environmental Liabilities.
Plugging and Abandonment Obligations has the meaning specified in Section 10.3.

Examples of Plugging and Abandonment Obligations in a sentence
Buyer shall conduct all Plugging and Abandonment Obligations and all other operations with respect to the Assets in a good and workmanlike manner and in compliance with all Laws, including Environmental Laws and Laws (now or hereafter in effect) relating to the protection of natural resources.
If Buyer defaults in the performance of its obligations pursuant to this Section 7.3, Seller, at its option in its sole discretion, and after reasonable notice, may complete, or have completed, the Plugging and Abandonment Obligations at Buyer’s expense.

More Definitions of Plugging and Abandonment Obligations
Plugging and Abandonment Obligations means any and all Covered Liabilities arising out of or attributable to the plugging, abandonment or removal (including any Remediation in connection therewith), or any obligation to plug, abandon or remove (including any Remediation in connection therewith), any well, platform, pipeline, facilities, equipment, fixtures or other property described or referenced in the Property Schedule or located on the Assets that has not been plugged, abandoned and removed in accordance with the terms of the Subject Interests and all Laws applicable thereto.
Plugging and Abandonment Obligations means any and all responsibility and liability for the following, arising out of or relating to the Assets, whether before, on, or after the Effective Time: (a) the necessary and proper plugging, replugging, and abandonment of the Xxxxx; (b) the necessary and proper removal, abandonment, and disposal of all structures, pipelines, equipment, operating inventory, abandoned property, trash, refuse, and junk located on or comprising part of the Assets; (c) the necessary and proper capping and burying of all associated flow lines located on or comprising part of the Assets in connection with any plugging, replugging, or abandonment of the Xxxxx; (d) to the extent not covered by clause (b) above, the necessary and proper removal, abandonment, and decommissioning of the Facilities or otherwise comprising part of the Assets; and (e) the necessary and proper restoration of the surface and subsurface of the Lands included in the Assets (including any required reclamation) to the condition required by applicable Laws and contracts.
