Photographic Technician definition

Photographic Technician means an employee working from an offshore location and engaged specifically to operate, service and maintain photographic and dark room equipment and chemicals used in connection with a diving operation.

Examples of Photographic Technician in a sentence

  • At course completion employees: • commence two year programme to complete all unit standards; and, • should be permanently employed in a photographic section; and, • after 6 month’s satisfactory service and meeting competency requirements, eligible to appointment to Photographic Technician 1 and one TR pay increment.

  • Employees at this level are subject to: • workplace assessment and completing modules in the NZQA certificate programme in Forensic Photography; and, • after 18 months satisfactory service as a Photographic Technician 1 eligible for appointment to Photographic Technician 2, subject to meeting competency requirements and passing at Certificate level.

  • If appointed to Photographic Technician 2, staff are eligible to receive one TR pay increment.
