Phase One Mechanical Completion definition

Phase One Mechanical Completion means the completion of the Works such that the works are complete except for minor defects that do not prevent the Works from being reasonably capable of being used for its intended purpose and the Works are ready to be commissioned.

  • The Contractor and the Company agree to work cooperatively to develop and agree upon a reasonably achievable time schedule in which to complete Phase One (including as the key requirement, the achievement of Phase One Mechanical Completion) and the Contractor agrees to use its best endeavours to achieve that schedule and any subsequently agreed amendments.

  • Mechanical Completion means that (a) all components and systems of the Project have been properly constructed, installed and functionally tested according to EPC Contract requirements in a safe and prudent manner that does not void any equipment or system warranties or violate any permits, approvals or Laws; (b) the Project is ready for testing and commissioning, as applicable; (c) Seller has provided written acceptance to the EPC Contractor of mechanical completion as that term is specifically defined in the EPC Contract.

  • Substantial Completion means the stage in the progress of the work as determined and certified by the Contracting Officer in writing to the Contractor, on which the work (or a portion designated by the Government) is sufficiently complete and satisfactory.   • Practical Completion means that stage in the execution of a Named Project when the Works have been completed in accordance with the terms of the relevant Building Contract and/or the terms of this Agreement such that the AHP Dwellings comprised within the Named Project are fit for beneficial occupation as a residential development in accordance with applicable NHBC or equivalent requirements current at the date of inspection subject only to the existence of minor defects and/or minor omissions at the time of inspection which are capable of being made good or carried out without materially interfering with the beneficial use and enjoyment of the Named Project and which would be reasonable to include in a snagging list, and Practically Complete shall be construed accordingly; Process has the meaning ascribed to it in the DPA; Procurement Law means (as the case may be):

  • Construction Completion Date means the date by which the overall development of the Project is completed in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement and when the Construction Completion Certificate is issued by the Independent Engineer as per Article 14.1.

  • Construction Completion means physical construction of a cleanup action component is complete.
