Phase l definition

Phase l means, with respect to human clinical trials, initial introduction of new drug in humans (patients or normal volunteers, as appropriate). Controlled studies are designed to determine metabolism, pharmacologic actions, side effects associated with single and increasing multiple-doses, and, if possible, to gain early evidence of efficacy.
Phase l means (following the Gate 3 Review) the design, construction and operation of the Smelter and the Rolling Mill;

Related to Phase l

  • Generation Interconnection Feasibility Study means a study conducted by the Transmission Provider (in coordination with the affected Transmission Owner(s)) in accordance with Tariff, Part IV, section 36.

  • Interconnection Feasibility Study means either a Generation Interconnection Feasibility Study or Transmission Interconnection Feasibility Study.

  • Phase I means the first part of the tuition incentive assistance program defined as the academic period of 80 semester or 120 term credits, or less, leading to an associate degree or certificate.

  • Outside Completion Date shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 6.3(d).

  • Phase II means the second part of the tuition incentive assistance program which provides assistance in the third and fourth year of 4-year degree programs.
