Personal flotation device (PFD) definition

Personal flotation device (PFD) means life preservers, life vests, flotation rings, or buoyant cushions approved by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) and designed to float a person in the water.
Personal flotation device (PFD) means a lifesaving flotation device approved by the United States Coast Guard, pursuant to Title 46 Code of Federal Regulations Part 160.
