Personal Baggage definition

Personal Baggage. Means Your suitcases, trunks and similar containers including their contents and articles worn or carried by You. It does not mean or include any business samples or items that You intend to trade, passport or travel documents, cash, bank notes, currency notes, cheques, negotiable instruments, electronic data, software, intangible assets, watercraft of any type (other than surfboards), furniture, furnishings, household appliances, mechanically propelled vehicles, unmanned vehicles, hired items or any other item listed as excluded on Your Certificate of Insurance.
Personal Baggage means your suitcases and similar containers, their contents and articles carried or worn by you including your valuables (as defined below), stamps, documents, contact or corneal lenses, dentures, hearing aids, spectacles, fragile articles or business goods and samples
Personal Baggage means the permissible quantities of articles and goods in-passenger baggage as the Director General of Customs, may from time to time determine. "Goods in small consignments" means any goods that arrive as bone fide gift or commercial or trade samples received by an individual or registered company as determined by the Director General of Customs.

Examples of Personal Baggage in a sentence

  • Personal Baggage left in a motor vehicle unless stored in a locked luggage compartment of the motor vehicle and forced entry is gained.

  • Any loss or damage to Personal Baggage whilst in the custody of the carriers (airline, bus company etc) must be notified to them immediately and a property irregularity report obtained.

  • Personal Baggage left Unattended by You or Your Travelling Companion in a Public Place.

  • In the event of a loss of Personal Baggage, We reserve the right to replace or pay the intrinsic value of any lost article.

  • If Your Personal Baggage or effects are stolen, You must notify the local police or local government authority within 24 hours and You must obtain a copy of their incident report.

  • EMERGENCY BAGGAGEIf Your Personal Baggage is temporarily lost in transit, and is not restored to You within 12 hours of the discovery of the loss, We will reimburse You for the emergency purchase of essential replacement items.

  • The Insured Person must take all reasonable precautions for the supervision and safety of any Personal Baggage, Business Property, Personal Money, Portable Electronic Equipment and Travel Documents.

  • Any loss or damage to Personal Baggage whilst in the custody of the carriers (e.g. an airline or bus company) must be notified to them immediately and a property irregularity report obtained.You must provide Us with all reports, receipts, doctor’s certificates, information and proof We reasonably require to help substantiate any claim.Pre-existing Medical ConditionsIt is important to understand that Pre-existing Medical Conditions may not be covered under Your policy.

  • Any loss claimed under Section 5 – Personal Baggage arising from the same cause is excluded.

  • Claims for the purchase of emergency replacement of clothing and toiletries under Deprivation of Personal Baggage must be supported by receipts for the replacement items.

  • Personal Services means “the performance of any work or labor and shall also include acting as an independent contractor or providing any consulting advice or assistance, or otherwise acting as an agent pursuant to a contractual relationship.”

  • Personal Leave means leave provided for:

  • Personal Computer means an IP-enabled desktop or laptop device with a hard drive, keyboard and monitor, designed for multiple office and other applications using a silicon chip/microprocessor architecture and shall not include any Portable Devices.

  • Checked Baggage means baggage of which the carrier takes sole custody and for which the carrier issues a baggage identification tag.

  • Personal Law means the law of inheritance and succession as applicable to the individual Unit Holder.

  • Personal Grievance means a claim of unjustifiable dismissal, unjustifiable disadvantage, discrimination, sexual or racial harassment, or duress in relation to membership or non-membership of a union or employees’ organisation.

  • Personal care means the provision of hands-on services to assist an individual with activities of daily living.

  • Customer Personal Data means the personal data contained within the Customer Data.

  • Personal wireless services means commercial mobile services, unlicensed wireless services, and common carrier wireless exchange access services, as defined by federal laws and regulations.

  • Personal representative means the person or persons who, upon the disability or incompetence of a Participant, shall have acquired on behalf of the Participant, by legal proceeding or otherwise, the power to exercise the rights or receive benefits under this Plan and who shall have become the legal representative of the Participant.

  • Necessary Personal Effects means items such as clothing and toiletry items, which are included in the Insured’s Baggage and are required for the Insured’s Trip.

  • Electrical equipment means underground equipment that contains dielectric fluid that is necessary for the operation of equipment such as transformers and buried electrical cable.

  • Sensitive Personal Information or “SPI” means the information categories listed at Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 521.002(2).

  • Personal Account means any account owned by, or in the name of, an OppenheimerFunds Employee or Access Person in which Securities may be held or any such account in which an Employee (including an Access or Investment Person) has a Beneficial Interest.

  • Baggage Check means those portions of the Ticket which relate to the carriage of your Checked Baggage.
