Permitted Fund definition

Permitted Fund means, in respect of an investment by a Portfolio, an investment in a UCITS, a Permitted Alternative Fund, a Permitted Fund managed by the Investment Adviser or other UCI or such other eligible or permitted fund as may be allowed under the Law of 17 December 2010;
Permitted Fund any money market fund that qualifies as an investment company under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and (i) invests solely in securities issued or guaranteed as to principal and interest by the U.S. government and (ii) continues to be rated AAAm by S&P and Aaa-mf by Moody's.
Permitted Fund means (I) any successor Entity to an existing Foundation Fund or (II) any other Entity with an investment program all of which is within the same or a substantially related strategy as an existing Foundation Fund or a subset of an existing Foundation Fund.

Examples of Permitted Fund in a sentence

  • The Portfolio may invest up to 10% of its net assets in Permitted Funds to the extent that such investment is consistent with its investment policy and restrictions and may not invest in Permitted Funds that allow leverage, as this may result in losses exceeding the Net Asset Valuation (NAV) of the portfolio of the Permitted Fund.

  • However, such Goldman Sachs Permitted Funds and their investment advisers will be entitled to charge fees and expenses at the level of such Goldman Sachs Permitted Funds in accordance with the offering documents of the relevant Goldman Sachs Permitted Fund.

  • In furtherance of the foregoing, the Employee agrees that during the Term and following the termination of this Agreement, except for the disclosures permitted in Sections 6 and 7 above in connection with the marketing of a Permitted Fund, the sole and only disclosure or statement he will make about or concerning any or all of the Employer, High River, Mr. Icahn, his family members, or any of the respective Affiliates of any of the foregoing, is to acknowledge that he is or was employed with Employer.

  • The investment policies of these Portfolios will be updated to provide additional clarification in relation to the fact that the Portfolios may not invest in Permitted Funds that allow leverage, as this may result in losses exceeding the Net Asset Valuation (NAV) of the portfolio of the Permitted Fund.

  • The sum of U.S. $1,630,000,000 to be used for the Funded Class Benefits and the Additional Permitted Fund Uses as described in this Article III (such amount being the “Settlement Fund Amount”).

More Definitions of Permitted Fund

Permitted Fund has the meaning given to it in Schedule 1;
Permitted Fund means the private fund assets specified in Exhibit E (Investment Guidelines and Portfolio Requirements) that are credited to the Custody Account from time to time. For the avoidance of doubt, a Permitted Fund will not be credited toward the Adjusted Net Asset Value unless and until the Permitted Fund has issued a contract note or similar confirmation to the Custodian evidencing the registration of the pledged Permitted Fund interests in the name of the Custodian for the benefit of the Issuer, and the Custodian has provided a statement to the Secured Party showing the pledged Permitted Fund interests as held in the Custody Account.
Permitted Fund must satisfy all of the following criteria, as determined by the Calculation Agent from time to time:
Permitted Fund. (a) money market mutual funds whose investment -------------- criteria limits them to (i) U.S. Government Treasury obligations, and (ii) repurchase agreements collateralized by U.S. Government Treasury obligations, provided that such agreements are entered into with government securities dealers whose parents have a minimum credit rating of A1 or better or P1 by Standard & Poor's Ratings Services, a Division of The XxXxxx-Xxxx Companies, Inc. ("S&P"), or Xxxxx'x Investors Services, Inc. ("MOODY'S"), respectively, and (b) money market mutual funds rated AAAm by Standard S&P.
Permitted Fund means an investment fund or investment entity whose general partner (or, in the case of a limited liability company, the general manager) is (i) an Apollo Person, (ii) an Affiliate of an Apollo Person, or (iii) an officer, director, general partner or manager of an Apollo Person or an Affiliate of an Apollo Person.

Related to Permitted Fund

  • Restricted Fund means a fund in which the use of the principal or principal and income is restricted by agreement with, or direction by, the donor to a specific purpose. Restricted fund does not include a fund over which the owner has complete control. The owner is deemed to have complete control over a fund that is to be used for general operating or building purposes.

  • Related Fund means, with respect to any Lender that is an investment fund, any other investment fund that invests in commercial loans and that is managed or advised by the same investment advisor as such Lender or by an Affiliate of such investment advisor.

  • excepted fund means any: (1) money market fund; (2) fund that issues securities that are listed on a national exchange; and (3) fund that affirmatively permits short-term trading of its securities, if its prospectus clearly and prominently discloses that the fund permits short-term trading of its securities and that such trading may result in additional costs for the fund.

  • Regulated Funds means the Existing Regulated Fund, the Future Regulated Funds and the BDC Downstream Funds.

  • Related Funds means with respect to any Lender that is an Approved Fund, any other Approved Fund that is managed by the same investment advisor as such Lender or by an Affiliate of such investment advisor.

  • Affiliated Fund means with respect to any Investors, each corporation, trust, limited liability company, general or limited partnership or other entity under common control with that Investor (including any such entity with the same general partner or principal investment advisor as that Investor or with a general partner or principal investment advisor that is an Affiliate of the general partner or principal investment advisor of that Investor).

  • Affiliated Funds are any fund of Xxxx Xxxxxxx Trust (“JHVIT”), Xxxx Xxxxxxx Funds II (“JHF II”) or Xxxx Xxxxxxx Funds III (“JHF III”), excluding the following funds of JHVIT: the Money Market Trust B, 500 Index Trust B, International Equity Index Trust B and Total Bond Market Trust B.

  • Permitted Fund Manager means any Person that on the date of determination is (i) one of the entities on Exhibit C attached hereto and made a part hereof or any other nationally-recognized manager of investment funds investing in debt or equity interests relating to commercial real estate, (ii) investing through a fund with committed capital of at least $250,000,000 and (iii) not subject to a proceeding relating to the bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization or relief of debtors.

  • Permitted Group means any group of investors that is deemed to be a “person” (as that term is used in Section 13(d)(3) of the Exchange Act), by virtue of the Stockholders Agreement, as the same may be amended, modified or supplemented from time to time; provided that no single Person (other than the Principals and their Related Parties) Beneficially Owns (together with its Affiliates) more of the Voting Stock of the Company that is Beneficially Owned by such group of investors than is then collectively Beneficially Owned by the Principals and their Related Parties in the aggregate.
