Peacemaker definition

Peacemaker means an individual appointed by the parties or the Court who works with parties in a Court matter to attempt to resolve a dispute in a peaceful manner and in accordance with the customs of the Tribe.
Peacemaker means a person who satisfies the qualifications set forth in this Ordinance and is selected to mediate a conflict under the provisions of this Ordinance.
Peacemaker means a member of the Chief’s Council functioning either in the role of a mediator/judge seeking to reach a settlement between the parties and/or an arbitrator/judge with the authority to impose a judgment upon the parties.
