PCI Data definition

PCI Data means payment card information data. That is, any data related to card holders’ names, credit card numbers, or other credit card or financial information as may be protected by State and/or federal law.
PCI Data means Cardholder Data (including, without limitation, Primary Account Number, cardholder name, expiration date, and Service Code) and Sensitive Authentication Data (including without limitation full magnetic stripe data or the equivalent on a chip, CAV2/CVC2/CW2/CID, PINs/PIN block), as such terms are defined by the PCI Security Standards Council.
PCI Data means the following information relating to payment cards, which are defined in the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard:

  • The review must validate compliance with the PCI Data Security Standard for protecting cardholder data.

  • The Contractor must notify the State’s Contract Administrator of all failures to comply with the PCI Data Security Standard.

  • The review must validate compliance with the current PCI Data Security Standards for protecting cardholder data.

  • The Contractor must provide the State’s Contract Administrator with an annual Attestation of Compliance or a Report on Compliance showing the contractor is in compliance with the PCI Data Security Standard.

  • Contractors that process, transmit or store credit/debit cardholder data, must adhere to the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards.


More Definitions of PCI Data

PCI Data means, as applicable, payment card number, cardholder name, expiration date, card verification code or value, service code, and/or security-related information used to authenticate cardholders and/or authorize payment card transactions
PCI Data means credit card information within the scope of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. “PHI Data” means any protected health data, as defined under HIPAA.

PCI Data shall include but not be limited to (i) credit card primary account number; and (ii) cardholder names, card service codes or card expiration dates when combined with the primary account number.
