Patent Costs definition

Patent Costs means the reasonable fees and expenses paid to outside legal counsel, and filing, maintenance and other reasonable out-of-pocket expenses paid to Third Parties, incurred in connection with the Prosecution and Maintenance of Patent Rights.
Patent Costs means all out-of-pocket expenses for the preparation, filing, prosecution, and maintenance of all United States and foreign patents included in Patent Rights. Patent Costs shall also include reasonable out-of-pocket expenses for patentability opinions, inventorship determination, preparation and prosecution of patent application, re-examination, re-issue, interference, and opposition activities related to patents or applications in Patent Rights.

Examples of Patent Costs in a sentence

  • Such notice shall relieve Company from the obligation to pay for future Patent Costs but shall not relieve Company from responsibility to pay Patent Costs incurred prior to Licensor’s receipt of such notice in accordance with Section 5.1. Such surrendered U.S. or foreign patent application or patent shall thereupon cease to be a Licensor Patent Right hereunder and accordingly Company shall not be licensed under such patent or patent application and shall have no further rights therein.

  • Company shall pay to Licensor all Patent Costs within thirty (30) days of Company’s receipt of an invoice for such Patent Costs from Licensor.

  • Celltrion shall pay to Abpro its share of all Patent Costs within sixty (60) days of Celltrion’s receipt of an invoice for such Patent Costs from Abpro.


More Definitions of Patent Costs

Patent Costs means the legal, filing and other costs and expenses of ------------ preparing, filing, prosecuting and maintaining all patent applications and patents now or hereafter filed or issued, respectively, in the Territory relating to the Licensed Patent Rights.
