Participation Quota definition

Participation Quota means in relation to a Section, the decimal fraction allocated thereto in the Sectional Plan and which is calculated in terms of Section 32(1) of the Act.
Participation Quota means the percentage allocated to the Section in the Sectional Plans of the Scheme as registered and filed in the office of the relevant Deeds Registry or, in the event of such Sectional Plans not having been registered a percentage expressed to four decimal places and arrived at by dividing the floor area correct to the nearest square metre, of all the Sections in the buildings comprised in the Scheme;
Participation Quota means, in relation to a section in the Scheme, the percentage determined in accordance with the provisions of section 32(1) or (2) of the STA in respect of that section for the purposes referred to in section 32(3) of the STA, and shown on the Sectional Plan in accordance with provisions 5(3)(g) of the STA;

Examples of Participation Quota in a sentence

  • The undivided share in the common property apportioned to the Section shall be in accordance with the Participation Quota which is ultimately determined in terms of the Act upon approval and registration of the Sectional Plan.

More Definitions of Participation Quota

Participation Quota means the participation quota allocated to the section in the sectional plans and upon opening of the sectional title register, the registered sectional plans.
