Paid Parental Leave definition

Paid Parental Leave means three workweeks or one hundred twenty hours of paid leave for a biological/adoptive same sex parent not covered by paid maternity leave to care for and bond with a newborn/adopted child. This leave must be used within six months following the birth or adoption of a child. This leave may be scheduled on an intermittent basis with the approval of the supervisor and the chief human resources officer.
Paid Parental Leave may take leave for bonding with their new child.
Paid Parental Leave. Employees who meet the eligibility requirements of the Seattle Municipal Code Chapter 4.27, “Paid Parental Leave,” may take leave for bonding with their new child.

More Definitions of Paid Parental Leave

Paid Parental Leave is defined as up to twelve (12) consecutive 3 weeks of paid leave taken by the eligible employee immediately after 4 a covered event.
