Paid Administrative Leave definition

Paid Administrative Leave means temporary leave from a job assignment, with pay and benefits intact.

  • If the test results are not immediate, the employee will be placed on Paid Administrative Leave until the test results are received.

  • Management, with the approval of the County Administrator, may place an employee on Paid Administrative Leave in situations where the employee poses a potential safety or health risk to others or themselves, or is the subject of an investigation.

  • Paid Administrative Leave for COVID-19-related incidents is available for up to 16 working days or 128 hours.

  • Paid Administrative Leave must be used by December 31, 2020 – after that date, Paid Administrative Leave will no longer be available.

  • Administrative leave means placing an employee on leave pursuant to state law. Nothing in the Title IX regulations precludes a recipient from placing a non-student employee respondent on administrative leave during the pendency of a grievance process, provided that Massachusetts laws are followed.
