Overbroad definition

Overbroad means that PCLLC objects on the basis that the request is unduly burdensome, oppressive, vague and ambiguous, overly broad, unreasonably cumulative and/or duplicative.
Overbroad means that the Interrogatory is not reasonably particular, seeks information or documents merely tangential to the matters at issue in the case, or is not limited to a particular time period or geographic region, such that it is not proportional to the needs of and issues in the case, taking into account the relief sought, the parties’ resources, and the importance of the proposed discovery in resolving the issues in the litigation.
