Other Drug definition

Other Drug means any active pharmaceutical ingredient other than treprostinil, or any drug substance or drug product other than treprostinil drug substance or treprostinil drug product.

  • Loss Absorption Regulations means, at any time, the laws, regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards and policies relating to minimum requirements for own funds and eligible liabilities and/or loss absorbing capacity instruments of the Kingdom of Belgium, the Relevant Regulator, the Resolution Authority, the Financial Stability Board and/or of the European Parliament or of the Council of the European Union then in effect in the Kingdom of Belgium including, without limitation to the generality of the foregoing, any delegated or implementing acts (such as regulatory technical standards) adopted by the European Commission and any regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards and policies relating to minimum requirements for own funds and eligible liabilities and/or loss absorbing capacity instruments adopted by the Relevant Regulator and/or the Resolution Authority from time to time (whether or not such regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards or policies are applied generally or specifically to the Issuer or to the Group).

  • Legend drug or "prescription drug" means any drug or device that has been determined to be unsafe for self- medication or any drug or device that bears or is required to bear the legend:

  • Legend drugs means any drugs which are required by state

  • Public health authority means an agency or authority of the United States, a state, a territory, a political subdivision of a state or territory, an Indian tribe, or a foreign government, or a person or entity acting under a grant of authority from or contract with such public agency, including the employees or agents of such public agency or its contractors or persons or entities to whom it has granted authority, that is responsible for public health matters as part of its official mandate.

  • Criminal drug statute means a Federal or non-Federal criminal statute involving the manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession or use of any controlled substance.

  • Brand Name Drug means a Prescription Drug that has been given a name by a manufacturer or distributor to distinguish it as produced or sold by a specific manufacturer or distributor and may be used and protected by a trademark.

  • FFDCA means the United States Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, 21 U.S.C. §301 et seq., as amended from time to time, together with any rules, regulations and requirements promulgated thereunder (including all additions, supplements, extensions, and modifications thereto).

  • Generic Drug means any Prescription Drug approved by the FDA that has the same bio-equivalency as a specific Brand Name Drug.

  • Cosmetic means surgery, procedures or treatment and other services performed primarily to enhance or improve appearance, including but not limited to, and except as otherwise required by state or federal law, those surgeries, procedures, treatments and other services performed in the absence of a functional impairment of a body part or organ as documented in the medical record, even if such services will improve emotional, psychological or mental condition or function.

  • FDA means the United States Food and Drug Administration and any successor agency thereto.

  • MHLW means the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and any successor agency thereto.

  • Collaborative drug therapy management means participation by an authorized pharmacist and a physician in the management of drug therapy pursuant to a written community practice protocol or a written hospital practice protocol.

  • Participating Prescription Drug Provider means an independent retail Pharmacy, chain of retail Pharmacies, mail-order Pharmacy or specialty drug Pharmacy which has entered into an agreement to provide pharmaceutical services to participants in the benefit program. A retail Participating Pharmacy may or may not be a select Participating Pharmacy as that term is used in the Vaccinations Obtained Through Participating Pharmacies section.

  • Clinical laboratory means a facility for the microbiological, serological, chemical, hematological, radiobioassay, cytological, immunohematological, pathological, or other examination of materials derived from the human body for the purpose of providing information for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of a disease or assessment of a medical condition.

  • Biological agent shall mean any pathogenic (disease producing) micro-organism(s) and/or biologically produced toxin(s) (including genetically modified organisms and chemically synthesized toxins) which cause illness and/or death in humans, animals or plants.
