Original equipment manufacturer means a company that manufactures products that it has designed from purchased components and sells those products under the company's brand name.
Original manufacturer means the original component manufacturer, the original equipment manufacturer, or the contract manufacturer.
Original component manufacturer means an organization that designs and/or engineers a part and is entitled to any intellectual property rights to that part.
Product Manufacturer means the entity that assembles the component parts to manufacture the final Product;
Tobacco product manufacturer means an entity that after the date of enactment of this Act directly (and not exclusively through any affiliate):
Contract Manufacturer means a company that produces goods under contract for another company under the label or brand name of that company.
Engine Manufacturer means CFM International, Inc.
Manufacturer means the person or body who is responsible to the approval authority for all aspects of the type approval process and for ensuring conformity of production. It is not essential that the person or body is directly involved in all stage of the construction of the vehicle, system, component or separate technical unit which is the subject of the approval process.
Authorized aftermarket manufacturer means an organization that fabricates a part under a contract with, or with the express written authority of, the original component manufacturer based on the original component manufacturer’s designs, formulas and/or specifications.
Remanufacturing means processing a higher-value hazardous secondary material in order to manufacture a product that serves a similar functional purpose as the original commercial-grade material. For the purpose of this definition, a hazardous secondary material is considered higher-value if it was generated from the use of a commercial-grade material in a manufacturing process and can be remanufactured into a similar commercial-grade material.
Modular building manufacturer means a person or corporation who owns or operates a
Third Party Manufacturer means any person, firm or company which carries out the reproduction of Work and/or manufactures and/or prints the Licensed Publication on behalf of the Licensee;

Manufacturing Technology means any and all patents, patent applications, know-how, and all intellectual property rights associated therewith that are owned or controlled by Licensor, and including all tangible embodiments thereof, that are necessary or useful for the manufacture of adeno-associated viruses, adeno-associated virus vectors, research or commercial reagents related thereto, Licensed Products, or other products, including manufacturing processes, technical information relating to the methods of manufacture, protocols, standard operating procedures, batch records, assays, formulations, quality control data, specifications, scale up, any and all improvements, modifications, and changes thereto, and any and all activities associated with such manufacture. Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.
End User License Agreement or “XXXX” means the software license agreement terms and conditions for the Apple Software.
Manufacturing Know-How means all information, techniques, inventions, discoveries, improvements, practices, methods, knowledge, skill, experience and other technology, whether or not patentable or copyrightable, and any copyrights based thereon, relating to or necessary or useful for the production, purification, packaging, storage and transportation of Collaboration Products, including without limitation specifications, acceptance criteria, manufacturing batch records, standard operating procedures, engineering plans, installation, operation and process qualification protocols for equipment, validation records, master files submitted to the FDA, process validation reports, environmental monitoring processes, test data including pharmacological, toxicological and clinical test data, cost data and employee training materials.
Manufacturing Process means any and all processes, methods, procedures and activities (or any step in any process or activity) used or planned to be used by Manufacturer to Manufacture Product, as evidenced in the Batch Documentation or master Batch Documentation.
Satellite Manufacturer means, with respect to any Satellite, the prime contractor and manufacturer of such Satellite.
Major medical equipment means medical equipment which is used for the provision of medical and other health services and which costs in excess of the capital expenditure minimum, except that such term does not include medical equipment acquired by or on behalf of a clinical laboratory to provide clinical laboratory services if the clinical laboratory is independent of a physician's office and a hospital and it has been determined under Title XVIII of the Social Security Act to meet the requirements of paragraphs (10) and (11) of Section 1861(s) of such Act. In determining whether medical equipment has a value in excess of the capital expenditure minimum, the value of studies, surveys, designs, plans, working drawings, specifications, and other activities essential to the acquisition of such equipment shall be included.
