Operatives definition

Operatives means a shareholder, officer, employee, servant, controlling Person, executive, director, agent, authorised representative or Affiliate of any of the Obligors.
Operatives means persons whose rates of wages and other emoluments (including holiday credits) are governed by the rules or decisions or agreements of the Construction Industry Joint Council or some other wage-fixing body for trades associated with the building industry;
Operatives means any individual or group of individuals supplied by Paramount Trades & Labour Ltd to the Hirer Client pursuant to these Conditions

  • Operatives who return home from periodic leave, as in 7.4 below, shall be paid lodging-out allowance for both the day on which they travel home from the site and the day on which they return to the site.

More Definitions of Operatives

Operatives is defined in Section 10.12.2.
Operatives means any individual(s) deployed by the Contractor to carry out the Works on the Contractor’s behalf; ‘Project’ means a construction or civil engineering project that the Contractor has agreed to perform Works on and for which the Contractor has created a Project Number. For the avoidance of doubt, a Project may comprise a number of different Works and the Contractor may undertake several different Projects for the Agency at any time; ‘Project Number’ means the unique reference number that the Contractor shall create for each Project. For the avoidance each Agency Works Confirmation shall contain a Project Number to identify which Project those Works form ‘pWarotrkosf’. means the particular works and services the Contractor shall provide on a Project as set out in a Agency Works Confirmation. the Agency shall fully indemnify and hold harmless the Contractor in respect of all losses, liabilities, claims and costs imposed, suffered or incurred by the Contractor as a result of HM Revenue & Customs suggesting or alleging that any Operative has been taxed incorrectly in relation to any Works that the Contractor has agreed to undertake for the Agency.
Operatives means any individual(s) engaged by CLEARWAY GRITTING to perform the Services in accordance with the Contract.
