Operative Intervention definition
Operative Intervention means any surgical procedure resulting from a patient being taken directly from the emergency department to an operating suite regardless of whether the patient was admitted to the hospital (See Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Title 25, Part 1, Chapter 157, Subchapter G, §157.131(a)(9)).
