Open Entry definition

Open Entry means a Declaration of activities listed in Schedule B under the caption “Open Entry” which does not qualify for Individual License or a Class License.
Open Entry means the entry requirements applicable to adults who possess learning experiences which can be assessed and matched against the requirements to enter into an academic programme.

Examples of Open Entry in a sentence

  • Once an instructor accepts a student in an Open Entry course, he/she will be compensated during the semester of enrollment, even if the instruction is not completed until a subsequent semester.

  • For Open Entry courses, faculty workload will be calculated using the course’s contact hours.

  • Courses outside the normal practice would include Open Entry Internships, Independent Study, and Co-Ops.

  • For Open Entry (OE) courses, Association Member workload will be calculated using the course’s contact hours.
