On track for graduation means that at the end of grade 9, a student has earned at least five credits and has received no more than one failing grade in a term in a language arts, mathematics, science, or social studies course that fulfills a credit requirement under section 120B.024. A student is off track for graduation if the student fails to meet either of these criteria.

On track for graduation means satisfactory completion of credits both as to number and as to distribution as is required for a student to graduate from Minneapolis Public Schools within eight semesters commencing with the student’s first entry as a ninth grade student in any high school.
