Office Building Project Buildings means all of the buildings on the Office Building Project site.

(f) "Insured Loss" shall mean damage or destruction which was caused by an event required to be covered by the insurance described in paragraph 8. The fact that an Insured Loss has a deductible amount shall not make the loss an uninsured loss. (g) "Replacement Cost" shall mean the amount of money necessary to be spent in order to repair or rebuild the damaged area to the condition that existed immediately prior to the damage occurring, excluding all improvements made by lessees, other than those installed by Lessor at Lessee's expense. 9.2

Office Building means a building that is used primarily for conducting business transactions other than retail sales.
Office Building Project Buildings Total Destruction means if the Office Building Project Buildings are damaged or destroyed to the extent that the cost of repair is fifty percent (50%) or more of the then Replacement Cost of the Office Building Project Buildings.
Building Common Areas as used in this Lease, shall mean the portions of the Common Areas located within the Building designated as such by Landlord. The manner in which the Common Areas are maintained and operated shall be at the sole discretion of Landlord and the use thereof shall be subject to such rules, regulations and restrictions as Landlord may make from time to time. Landlord reserves the right to close temporarily, make alterations or additions to, or change the location of elements of the Project and the Common Areas.
Building means any structure used or intended for supporting or sheltering any use or occupancy.
Base Building shall include the structural portions of the Building, and the public restrooms, elevators, exit stairwells and the systems and equipment located in the internal core of the Building on the floor or floors on which the Premises are located. In performing the work of any such Alterations, Tenant shall have the work performed in such manner so as not to obstruct access to the Project or any portion thereof, by any other tenant of the Project, and so as not to obstruct the business of Landlord or other tenants in the Project. Tenant shall not use (and upon notice from Landlord shall cease using) contractors, services, workmen, labor, materials or equipment that, in Landlord’s reasonable judgment, would disturb labor harmony with the workforce or trades engaged in performing other work, labor or services in or about the Building or the Common Areas. In addition to Tenant’s obligations under Article 9 of this Lease, upon completion of any Alterations, Tenant agrees to cause a Notice of Completion to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of San Diego in accordance with Section 3093 of the Civil Code of the State of California or any successor statute, and Tenant shall deliver to the Project construction manager a reproducible copy of the “as built” drawings of the Alterations, to the extent applicable, as well as all permits, approvals and other documents issued by any governmental agency in connection with the Alterations.
Apartment Building means a residential use building, or the residential use portion of a mixed-use building, other than a townhouse or stacked townhouse containing four or more dwelling units each of which shall have access to above grade common halls, stairs, elevators, and yards;
the Building means, where applicable, the larger building or tenement of which the Property forms part.
Buildings means any and all buildings, structures, garages, utility sheds, workrooms, air conditioning towers, open parking areas and other improvements, and any and all additions, alterations, betterments or appurtenances thereto, now or at any time hereafter situated, placed or constructed upon the Land or any part thereof.
Building Drain means that part of the lowest horizontal piping of a drainage system which receives the discharge from soil, waste, and other drainage pipes inside the walls of the building and conveys it to the building sewer, beginning five (5) feet (1.5 meters) outside the inner face of the building wall.
Rentable Area of the Building The amount of square footage set forth in Section 1.01(11)
Common Area means all real property owned by the Association for the common use and enjoyment of the Owners.
mixed-use building means a building or structure containing a residential and non- residential use other than a home occupation;
heritage building means any building of one or more premises or any part thereof which requires preservation and conservation for historical, architectural, environmental, cultural or religious purpose includes such portion of the land adjoining such buildings as may be required;
New Building ’ means a new construction to house a complete motor vehicle as- sembly process, where that construction includes the pouring or construction of a new foundation and floor, the erection of a new frame and roof, and the instal- lation of new plumbing and electrical and other utilities;
farm building means that part of a bona fide farming operation encompassing barns, silos and other ancillary development to an agricultural use, but excluding a residential use;

Building Area means the greatest horizontal area of a storey above grade within the outside surface of exterior walls or within the outside surface of exterior walls and the centre line of firewalls.
School building means any building in which any of the instruction, extracurricular activities, or training provided by a school is conducted, whether or not any instruction, extracurricular activities, or training provided by the school is being conducted in the school building at the time a criminal offense is committed.
Commercial building means a building or part of a building, which is used as shops, offices, business arcade, show rooms, display centers or market for sale of merchandise for retail only, building used for transaction of business or the keeping of accounts, records for similar purposes, professional service facilities, petrol pumps, restaurants, cinemas, theatres, banks, clubs run on commercial basis. Storage and service facilities incidental to the sale of merchandise shall be included under this group, except where exempted.
Building site means a plot of land held for building purposes, whether any building is actually erected thereupon or not, and includes the open ground or courtyard enclosed by, or adjacent to, any building erected thereupon;
Common Areas is defined as all areas and facilities outside the Premises and within the exterior boundary line of the Project and interior utility raceways and installations within the Unit that are provided and designated by the Lessor from time to time for the general non-exclusive use of Lessor, Lessee and other tenants of the Project and their respective employees, suppliers, shippers, customers, contractors and invitees, including parking areas, loading and unloading areas, trash areas, roadways, walkways, driveways and landscaped areas.
Common Areas and Facilities means those areas, facilities, improvements, installations and equipment in or around the Building existing from time to time that: (i) are neither rented nor designated nor intended by the Landlord to be rented: and (ii) are provided or designated from time to time by the Landlord for use in common by the Landlord, the Tenant, other tenants of the Building or their sublessees, agents, employees, customers, invitees or licensees, whether or not those areas are open to the general public or to all tenants of the Building including, without limitation, the Building Systems, entrances, lobbies, access and service corridors, stairways, indoor and outdoor walkways (both open and enclosed), malls, courts and arcades (both open and enclosed), public seating areas and facilities, public washrooms, indoor and outdoor landscaping and landscaped areas, passageways or tunnels leading to any public walkway or other facilities or to other buildings or concourses, mailrooms, electrical, telecommunications, cable, meter, valve, mechanical, storage and janitor rooms, telecommunication and electrical risers, shipping and receiving areas and loading docks, package or passenger pick-up areas, waste disposal or recycling facilities, parking facilities, driveways, laneways and ramps and sidewalks, parks and other municipal facilities for which the Landlord directly or indirectly is subject to obligations in its capacity as owner of the Building or an interest in it, all as may be altered, expanded, reduced, reconstructed or relocated from time to time.
Building Square Footage or "BSF" means the square footage of assessable internal living space of a Unit, exclusive of any carports, walkways, garages, overhangs, patios, enclosed patios, detached accessory structure, other structures not used as living space, or any other square footage excluded under Government code Section 65995 as determined by reference to the Building Permit for such Unit.
Outbuilding means a structure, whether attached or separate from the main building that is normally ancillary and subservient to the main building on a land unit, and includes a building designed to be used for the garaging of motor vehicles, and any other normal activities in so far as these are usually and reasonably required in the connection with the main building, but does not include a second dwelling;
office premises means a building or place used for the purpose of administrative, clerical, technical, professional or similar activities that do not include dealing with members of the public at the building or place on a direct and regular basis, except where such dealing is a minor activity (by appointment) that is ancillary to the main purpose for which the building or place is used.
