Occupancies definition

Occupancies means the use or possession or the right to the use or possession of real property or a portion thereof, including any dwelling unit, single family dwelling unit, guest cottage, or second unit, for dwelling, lodging or sleeping purposes. The right to use or possession includes any nonrefundable deposit or guaranteed no-show fee paid by a person, whether or not the person making the deposit actually exercises the right to occupancy by using or possessing any property or portion thereof.
Occupancies means the use or intended use of a building or part thereof as defined in the Ontario Building Code.

Examples of Occupancies in a sentence

  • Light Hazard Occupancies: Patient care, treatment, and customary access areas.

  • Notice: Certificates of Occupancies for the subject properties will not be issued by the City until the construction of all the public improvements (streets, sewers, storm drains, etc.), as required herein, are completed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer.

  • During fire drills, clients may be evacuated to a safe area in facilities certified under the Health Care Occupancies Chapter of the Life Safety Code.

  • Building means any structure used or intended for supporting or sheltering any use or occupancy.

  • Amenities are those areas specifically set forth in the Rules and Regulations for the Community.

  • Leases means any and all leases, subleases, tenancies, options, concession agreements, rental agreements, occupancy agreements, franchise agreements, access agreements and any other agreements (including all amendments, extensions, replacements, renewals, modifications and/or guarantees thereof), whether or not of record and whether now in existence or hereafter entered into, affecting the use or occupancy of all or any portion of any Real Property.

  • Space Leases means any Lease or sublease thereunder (including, without limitation, any Major Space Lease) or any other agreement providing for the use and occupancy of a portion of the Property as the same may be amended, renewed or supplemented.

  • Easements has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.3.

  • business premises means premises on which a business is conducted, premises rented in whole or in part to others, or held for rental.

  • Occupant means any person or persons over the age of eighteen years in possession of the property.

  • Concessions means assent to repayment of a debt on terms more favorable to an individual than the terms of the contract between the individual and a creditor.
