OAT Strips definition

OAT Strips means Obligation Assimilable du Trésor securities issued by the French treasury which have been stripped by Spécialistes en Valeurs du Trésor into zero coupon bonds.

  • If there has been a payment default in respect of the OAT Strips (having taken into account any applicable grace period), the Issuer shall give notice thereof to the Trustee, the Securityholders, the Calculation Agent and the Selling Agent.

  • In the event that the Notes are redeemed pursuant to Condition 7(b) (Redemption at the Option of the Noteholders) each Class U Combination Noteholder will, in respect of the Class U OAT Strip Security Component, receive either a pro rata distribution in kind of the Class U OAT Strips or a Class U Combination Noteholder may elect to receive the proceeds of sale of the Class U OAT Strips realised by the Custodian.
