Nutraceutical means a Cosmetic product, Dietary Supplement, Personal Care Product, or Drug that does not require a doctor’s authorization for purchase by the general public.
Nutraceutical means biological or chemical materials for use by humans and animals which are sold accompanied by only nutritional (and not medical) claims and therefore would not be subject to registration as a pharmaceutical by the FDA in the country in which the material is offered for sale under regulations in effect as of the Effective Date, as interpreted by administrative and judicial decisions, whenever made.
