Nuclear Fuel definition

Nuclear Fuel means any material which is capable of producing energy by a self-sustaining chain process of nuclear fission;
Nuclear Fuel means all nuclear fuel assemblies in the Facility reactor on a Closing Date and any irradiated nuclear fuel assemblies that have been temporarily removed from the Facility reactor as of a Closing Date and all nuclear unirradiated fuel assemblies awaiting insertion into the Facility reactor, as well as all nuclear fuel constituents in any stage of the fuel cycle which are in the process of production, conversion, enrichment or fabrication for use in the Facility or which have been or will be purchased for the Facility.
Nuclear Fuel has the meaning specified in Section 1 of the Fuel Lease.

Examples of Nuclear Fuel in a sentence

  • Any or all aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle, including, but not limited to, the mining, milling, design and licensing, conversion, enrichment, fabrication, transportation, reprocessing, storage, and disposal of Nuclear Fuel.

  • An integral unit of fabricated Nuclear Fuel prepared for insertion into a reactor, including all hardware incorporated in such integral unit.

  • Any agreement entered into by the Operating Agent as principal on its own behalf and as agent for any of the Other Parties, or by the Operating Agent and any of the Other Parties, for the Supply of Nuclear Fuel, including, but not necessarily limited to, agreements for the purchased, sale, lease, transfer, disposition, management, storage, transportation, mining, milling, conversion, enrichments, processing, design and licensing, fabrication, reprocessing, and disposal of Nuclear Fuel.

  • The addition of any property, land, or land right to SONGS or the replacement, enlargement, or improvement of any property, land, or land right constituting a part of SONGS, which in accordance with Prescribed Accounting Practice would be capitalized, but not including Nuclear Fuel.

More Definitions of Nuclear Fuel

Nuclear Fuel shall have the meaning specified in Section 1 of the Lease Agreement.
Nuclear Fuel shall have the meaning assigned to such term in the Purchase Contract.
Nuclear Fuel means any Source Material, Special Nuclear Material or Byproduct Material, including any ores, mined or un-mined, uranium concentrates, natural or enriched uranium hexafluoride or any other material in process containing uranium, and any fuel assemblies or parts thereof, any of which are required for the generation of electricity.
Nuclear Fuel means fabricated nuclear fuel and services meeting the principal design requirements referenced in the DCD.
