NTEU means the National Tertiary Education Industry Union. Parties to this Agreement mean the University, its Staff and the NTEU.
NTEU means the National Tertiary Education Industry Union. Operating funds means the Commonwealth Operating Grant and/or student course fee income and/or other discretionary sundry income. Part-time employee means an employee who is engaged to work at any fraction of full- time which is less than 100 per cent. Parties means the parties to this Agreement. Partner means a person of the opposite or the same sex who lives with the employee on a bona fide domestic basis irrespective of whether or not they are legally married.

Policy informs the development of Guild procedures and should be consistent with the broader values and mission of Xxxxxxx University Guild of Students. Probationary employee means an employee serving the prescribed period, pursuant to clause 10.4, during which a staff member’s suitability for a position is assessed. Procedure refers to any rule, guideline or instruction that governs operations within a given Guild area, department or division; procedure should be consistent with relevant Guild policy. Reasonable support The Guild commits to provide reasonable support to staff in gaining the required knowledge at each level of the Organisation. Employees will either be provided with guidance on where to find the relevant information, or with the information directly. There is no expectation that the knowledge be developed without guidance. Redundancy means a situation where, having complied with Section 42 (Managing Organisational Change), the Guild no longer requires a staff member’s job to be performed by anyone because of changes in the operational requirements of the Guild.
