Not elsewhere classified definition

Not elsewhere classified means that the supply is not on the DME fee schedule (including DME-related supplies) or the HIT fee schedule, and does not have an existing code on the Home Health fee schedule.
Not elsewhere classified or NEC means that the emission’s source cannot be classified as any EIS (Emissions Inventory System) sector and its emissions are too small individually to include as its own EIS sector (EPA, 2011 National Emissions Inventory, Version 2. Technical Support Document, 2015).

  • Classified means the classification of a good under a particular heading or subheading of the Harmonised System;
