Normal Business Holidays definition

Normal Business Holidays means New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th (Independence Day), Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day and any other day which shall be recognized by office tenants generally (excluding federal or state banking institutions) as a national holiday on which employees are not required to work.
Normal Business Holidays includes, without limitation, New Year’s Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day and any other day on which the nationally recognized banks in the Commonwealth of Virginia are closed. If in the case of any holiday described in this Lease a different day is observed than the respective day described, then the day which constitutes the day observed by national banks in Norfolk, Virginia, on account of such holiday will constitute the holiday under this Lease.
Normal Business Holidays. MEANS NEW YEARS DAY, MEMORIAL DAY, JULY 4TH (INDEPENDENCE DAY), LABOR DAY, THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS DAY AND ANY OTHER DAY WHICH SHALL BE RECOGNIZED BY OFFICE TENANTS GENERALLY (EXCLUDING FEDERAL OR STATE BANKING INSTITUTIONS) AS A NATIONAL HOLIDAY ON WHICH EMPLOYEES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO WORK. 0.1.0.0.26. "NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS" FOR THE BUILDING MEANS 7:00 A.M. TO 6:00 P.M. ON MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, AND 8:00 A.M. TO 1:00 P.M. ON SATURDAY, EXCLUSIVE OF NORMAL BUSINESS HOLIDAYS.

  • Janitorial service, five (5) days per week, exclusive of Normal Business Holidays, at a level comparable to that provided in similar first class office buildings within a three (3) mile radius of the Building.

  • Janitorial services in the Premises and public portions of the Building, including the exterior entrance areas, for all days except Saturdays and Sundays and Normal Business Holidays, which janitorial services in the Premises is consistent with janitorial service generally provided in office buildings in the Norfolk, Virginia metropolitan area.

Normal Business Holidays means any Federal Reserve Bank Holiday.

  • Normal Business Hours means 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., EST/EDT, on Business Days.

  • Normal Working Hours means between the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, inclusive. Saturdays, Sundays, and County holidays are excluded.

  • Business Hour means a clock hour during Standard Business Hours.

  • Local Business means a business serving as a contractor as defined in Business and Professions Code section 7026 or a business supplying construction-related materials that has its principal headquarters or permanently staffed regional office and that has held a business license within the zip codes listed above for Local Hire for a minimum of three months prior to the date the entity submits a bid, contract, or proposal for a Public Project. A Local Business contractor must also be properly registered with the Department of Industrial Relations in accordance with Labor Code section 1725.5. Local Business shall also mean any state or nationally certified minority-owned, women-owned, or disabled veteran business that has performed work for the District or other public agency within the zip codes listed above for Local Hire during the past four years. Certification for a disabled veteran business must be provided to the District. Local Business shall also mean a business that participates in an internship program that is currently approved or recognized by the District. The entity may also apply to obtain District approval of its internship program. The internship program must be approved by the District and must be completed by the end of the specific Public Project or by the next semester immediately after completion of the specific Public Project. Local Business shall also mean any entity that uses apprentices from a District approved apprenticeship program.

  • Working Week means an average of 48 hours each week calculated over a 17-week reference period.

  • Weekday means Monday – Friday.

  • Statutory Holiday means New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day; and

  • Training hour means at least 50 minutes of actual learning, including, but not limited to, time devoted to lecture, learning activities, small group activities, demonstrations, evaluations, and hands-on experience.

  • Ordinary Hours means 38 hours per week within the spread of hours which may be averaged over a 12 month period.
