Substantive Pay means the pay other than special pay, personal pay or emoluments classed as pay by the Executive Council, to which a University employee is entitled on account of a post to which he has been appointed substantively or by reason of his substantive position in a cadre.
Substantive Motion means an original motion or an original motion as amended, but does not include an amendment or a procedural motion.
Adaptive Reuse means a proposed development that will be repurposed from what it was originally built and designed for. Except where stated otherwise, rehabilitation requirements in Threshold apply to Adaptive Reuse projects.
Substantive means comments that contribute something new and hopefully important to the discussion. Thus a message that simply says “I agree” is not substantive. A substantive comment contributes a new idea or perspective, a good follow-up question to a point made, offers a response to a question, provides an example or illustration of a key point, points out an inconsistency in an argument, etc.
Material Change in Content means the occurrence since the Launch Date of a material change in the content, composition or constitution of the Futures Contract or the Commodity.
Section 16 Officer means every person who is directly or indirectly the beneficial owner of more than ten percent (10%) of any class of any equity security (other than an exempted security) which is registered pursuant to Section 12 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Section 16 officers include officers or directors of the issuer of such security, and those who perform a policy-making function for the issuer. See Section 16 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The Nuveen Fund Board approves the list of Section 16 Officers for the Nuveen Funds on an annual basis. This list is maintained in the Legal Department in Chicago and includes portfolio managers, traders, and other access persons responsible for making policy related decisions.
Good Reason Termination means a termination of employment or service initiated by the Participant upon or after a Change of Control upon one or more of the following events:
Prospective review means utilization review conducted prior to an admission or a course of treatment.
Without Good Reason means termination of Executive’s employment by Executive other than For Good Reason pursuant to SECTION 3.2(b) below.
Termination for Good Reason means a Termination of Employment by Executive for a Good Reason.
Voluntary Termination for Good Reason means that the Executive voluntarily terminates his employment after any of the following are undertaken without Executive’s express written consent:
For Good Reason as defined in Section 6.4.
Substantial and Compelling Reason in the Public Interest means a reason that is justified by an important, specific, and articulated public interest goal that is within ICANN's mission and consistent with a balanced application of ICANN's core values as defined in ICANN's Bylaws.
Substantive document means a document or other information or data in electronic media determined by the comptroller to substan- tially involve or include information or data significant to an applica- tion, the evaluation or consideration of an application, or the agree- ment or implementation of an agreement for limitation of appraised value pursuant to Tax Code Chapter 313. The term includes, but is not limited to, any application requesting a limitation on appraised value and any amendments or supplements, any economic impact evaluation made in connection with an application, any agreement between applicant and the district and any subsequent amend- ments or assignments, any district written finding or report filed with the comptroller as required under 34 Administrative Code Chapter 9, Subchapter F; and any completed annual eligibility re- port (Form 50-772A) submitted to the comptroller. Good Reason means:
Retrospective review means a review of medical necessity conducted after services have been provided to a patient, but does not include the review of a claim that is limited to an evaluation of reimbursement levels, veracity of documentation, accuracy of coding, or adjudication for payment.
Good Leaver means, unless otherwise specified herein, the Owner’s ceasing to be a member of the executive management or an employee of the Company or a subsidiary for any reason other than due to (i) death, (ii) being a Voluntary Leaver, or (iii) being a Bad Leaver. The Owner’s employment shall be deemed ceased at the time the notice of termination served by the Owner to the Company or a subsidiary expires.
Competitive Real Estate Commission means a real estate or brokerage commission for the purchase or sale of property that is reasonable, customary, and competitive in light of the size, type, and location of the property.
Automotive rubbing or polishing compound means a product designed primarily to remove oxidation, old paint, scratches or swirl marks, and other defects from the painted surfaces of motor vehicles without leaving a protective barrier.
Essential Human Needs means natural gas service, which, if denied, would cause shutdown of an operation resulting in the closing of the establishment essential to maintaining the health and safety of the general public.
Selective Router means the equipment necessary for Selective Routing. "Selective Routing" is the automatic routing of 911/E911 calls to the PSAP that has jurisdictional responsibility for the service address of the caller, irrespective of telephone company exchange or Wire Center boundaries. Selective Routing may also be used for other services.
Bad Leaver means, unless otherwise specified herein, (i) the Owner's ceasing to be a member of the executive management or an employee of the Company or a subsidiary due to the Owner being dismissed because of the Owner's breach of the employment relationship or (ii) the Owner's ceasing to be an employee of the Company or a subsidiary due to being dismissed during the probationary period applicable to the Owner or not being offered continuous employment after the expiry of the probationary period applicable to the Owner. The Owner’s employment shall in case of dismissal be deemed ceased at the time the notice of termination served by the Company or a subsidiary to the Owner expires.
Good Cause means:
the Board means the board of directors of the Company;
Administrative Review means any decision making process of the director requested by a party aggrieved with an action taken under these rules except the hearing process described in OAR 436-001.
State committee means a committee formed to support or oppose candidates for state office or state ballot measures.
