Non-Standard Television definition

Non-Standard Television means all other forms of “television,” excluding free broadcast television only. The term “television” includes, without limitation, all means, manner and method of transmission via over-the-air, satellite, cable, broadband, wireless, internet protocol, the Internet (provided access to such transmission is technologically capable of being limited to the K2017 Territory, e.g., conditional access) and transmission to mobile and handheld devices and any other technology (including, without limitation, cable, free broadcast, subscription television, pay-per-view, closed circuit, and all forms and variations of video-on-demand, interactive and delayed exhibition), now known or hereafter devised, by which a television signal is or may be delivered (including, without limitation, analog, digital and HDTV). HERE shall have the exclusive right in the Territory to promote, market, and advertise the Telecast of the Programs on the Telecast Service in all forms of television and other media, including, without limitation, the Internet.
Non-Standard Television shall include, without limitation, transmission by means of cable, direct broadcast satellite, pay DTT, LPTV, CATV, SMATV, MMDS, TVRO, microwave, wireless cable, online, DSL, ADSL, via file server, telephonic, scrambled UHF, super stations, and closed circuit television systems.

  • Non-Standard Television transmission shall include all of the foregoing whether such transmission is on a subscription, pay-per-view, license, rental, sale, free or other basis.

  • Non-Standard Television shall be defined as all forms of television exhibition other than Standard Television, whether now testing or developed in the future and however transmitted or delivered, including broadcast, satellite, and terrestrial microwave transmission, cassette and disc transmission, coaxial cable transmission, and Internet transmission.

  • Non-Standard Television shall also include so-called “drop in” and “low power” VHF or UHF stations or VHF “limited facility” stations if these are not available to the viewer without charge.

  • If TRV does not exhibit each episo▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ram at least two (2) times by the latter of: (a) October 31, 2003, or (b) the date three (3) months after delivery and acceptance of the final episode of the Program to TRV then TRV's Non-Standard Television rights shall become non-exclusive.

  • The foregoing notwithstanding, with respect to each Program, Licensor may authorize a third party that is not an Affiliated System to Exhibit the version(s) of such Program made available to Licensee hereunder, by means of Non-Standard Television (other than the Internet) on a Pay-Per-View Basis during such Program’s License Period, and to promote such Exhibition.

Non-Standard Television shall include, but not be limited to, exhibition by cable, pay cable, “over-the-air-pay” or subscription television, master antenna, low power television, closed circuit, hotel (for private in-room viewing only), multipoint distribution service and direct broadcast satellite service, video-on-demand and near video-on-demand.
Non-Standard Television means transmission by all forms of television and by all delivery and viewing methods, platforms and devices whether now or hereafter devised and including equivalent audiovisual screen presentation to computer monitors, mobile phones and other hand-held devices including without limitation by satellite or terrestrial broadcast and/or inclusion in a cable programme and whether by digital or analogue means and by any economic or technical model whether on a streaming, pay per view, on-demand, near video on-demand, push and pull video on- demand, download to rent, subscription, pay or basic cable, or any other basis without restriction as to the number of transmissions other than by Standard Television, use in the Public Services or by exercise of the Non-Theatric Rights.
Non-Standard Television means any and all forms of video programming distribution, exhibition and display, whether now existing or hereafter developed, other than via Standard Television, including, without limitation, exploitation on a subscription, license, rental, sale or other basis (but not including theatrical exhibition to paying audiences, home video or non-theatrical exhibition). “Non-Standard Television” shall include, but not be limited to, exhibition by cable, pay cable, “over-the-air-pay” or subscription television, master antenna, low power television, closed circuit, hotel (for private in-room viewing only), multipoint distribution service and direct broadcast satellite service, video-on-demand and near video-on-demand.
Non-Standard Television means audiovisual programming delivered by any means of transmission, whether now existing or developed in the future (including all forms of fixed-line or wireless, narrowband or broadband transmission), other than (a) audiovisual programming which is made available to viewers free-of-charge (E.G., free-to-air UHF or VHF television) even if transmitted via cable or any other means of retransmission for which a facilities fee is charged, and (b) home-video distribution.
Non-Standard Television means any and all forms of television exhibition, whether now existing or developed in the future, other than exhibitions by means of Standard Television, Consumer Video Devices and Non-Theatrical Distribution. Non-Standard Television shall include, without limitation, exhibition by means of cable, wire or fiber of any material, "over-the-air pay" or STV in any frequency band, any and all forms of regular or occasional scrambled broadcast for taping, master antenna, satellite master antenna, low power television, closed-circuit television, tape, cassette and disc distribution (excluding Consumer Video Devices), video jukebox distribution, single and multi-channel multi-point distribution service, direct to TVRO satellite transmission, and radio (for purposes of simulcasts only), all on a subscription, pay-per-view, license, rental, sale or any other basis.
Non-Standard Television means any and all forms of television exhibition and display, whether now existing or developed in the future, other than exhibition by Standard Television. Non-Standard Television shall include, without limitation, exhibition by pay cable, "over-the-air pay," television pay per view, subscription television (including any and all forms of regular and occasional scrambled broadcast for taping), cable, master antenna, low power television, closed circuit, hotel, and other institutional service, direct broadcast satellite service (except for theatrical exhibition to paying audiences), transmission via telephone lines, electric power lines, wireless distribution, "video dial tone" and television "video on demand" systems (whether the video dial tone and video on demand are fee based, free, ad supported or any other commercial or non-commercial basis), television "subscription video on demand" systems and electronic publishing.
Non-Standard Television means and refer to any and all means of ------------------------- television Exhibition, other than Standard Broadcast Television, whether now known or hereafter derived and regardless of the mode or method of delivery; without limiting the generality of the foregoing, "Non-Standard Television" shall include pay cable, basic cable, pay-per-view, satellite delivered, DBS, STV, MDS, MMDS, SMATV and so-called "on demand" television.
