Non-Preemptible definition

Non-Preemptible means transponders or partial capacity that is not protected in the event of a satellite failure but is not subject to preemption to restore any other service.
Non-Preemptible transponders are not protected in the event of Failure as defined in Paragraph 4 below, and are not subject to preemption (non-preemptible) to restore any other customers' protected service.
Non-Preemptible with respect to the Telstar 7 satellite, shall mean that transponder service may not be preempted to restore any other customer's protected service.

  • For each Service Transponder, Customer shall be provided Service in accordance with the protection level stated in the Service Order (e.g., Fully Protected Service, Transponder Protected Service, Non-Preemptible Service, Preemptible Service or Business Preemptible Service), as such protection level is defined and as the restoration rights are set forth in the Service Order.

  • Rule 2 Non-Preemptible Services have priority over Preemptible Services.

  • A Non-Preemptible Service will have no rights of Preemption and will not be subject to Preemption.
