Non-financial Conflict of Interest definition

Non-financial Conflict of Interest means an interest other than monetary of an individual (or his/her immediate family) in the design, conduct, or reporting of the human subject research or other interest that competes with an IRB member’s (or consultant’s) obligation to protect research participants and potentially compromises the objectivity and credibility of the research review process.
Non-financial Conflict of Interest means any Conflict of Interest which arises, or can be perceived to arise, in the event that an IRB Barcelona member’s individual and personal obligations or commitments are not in accordance with the obligations or commitments undertaken by such IRB Barcelona member with IRB Barcelona.   • Personal conflict of interest means a situation in which a covered employee has a financial interest, personal activity, or relationship that could impair the employee’s ability to act impartially and in the best interest of the Government when performing under the contract. (A de minimis interest that would not “impair the employee’s ability to act impartially and in the best interest of the Government” is not covered under this definition.)

  • Conflict of Interest Policy means the Bank’s prevailing policy regarding conflicts of interest which is available at the website of the bank;
