Non-Competition Period definition

Non-Competition Period means the period beginning at the end of the Term and ending one (1) year after the end of the Term.

Non-Competition Period means the time of the Employee’s employment and a period of 12 months following the termination of the Employee’s employment for any reason.

Non-Competition Period shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.14.

Examples of Non-Competition Period in a sentence

• Through and up to the conclusion of the Non-Competition Period, Executive shall give notice to the Company of each new business activity he plans to undertake, at least seven (7) days prior to beginning any such activity.

• Until the conclusion of the Non-Competition Period, the Executive shall give notice to the Company of each new business activity that he plans to undertake at least thirty (30) days prior to beginning any such activity.

• During the Non-Competition Period, you shall not directly or indirectly engage in or participate as an owner, partner, holder or beneficiary of stock, stock options or other equity interest, officer, employee, director, manager, partner or agent of, or consultant for, any business competitive with any business of Viacom without the prior written consent of the Company.

• Each of the Company and the Employee covenants and agrees that during the Non-Competition Period, such party will not, directly or indirectly, either in writing or by any other medium, make any disparaging, derogatory or negative statement, comment or remark about the other party or any of its Affiliates, or Xxxxxx X.

• The Employee will return to the Company all originals and copies in his possession or control that contain such information, whenever requested by the Company from time to time during the Non-Competition Period and after termination of his employment.

More Definitions of Non-Competition Period

Non-Competition Period means the period the Executive is employed by the Company plus one (1) year from the Termination Date if the Executive's employment is terminated (i) by the Company for any reason, (ii) by the Executive for any reason, or (iii) by reason of either the Company's or the Executive's decision not to extend the term of this Agreement as contemplated by Section 1 hereof. Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement to the contrary, after a Change in Control, the Non-Competition Period shall terminate upon a termination without Cause by the Company or by the Executive for Good Reason.

Non-Competition Period means the period commencing upon the Date of Termination and continuing until the first anniversary of the Date of Termination or such lesser period as is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction pursuant to Section 7.5(d).

Non-Competition Period has the meaning set forth in Section 5.1(f).

Non-Competition Period means a period of 12 months after the termination of Executive’s employment with the Company unless a court of competent jurisdiction determines that that Period is unenforceable under applicable law because it is too long, in which case the Non-Competition Period shall be for the longest of the following periods that the court determines is reasonable under the circumstances: 11 months, 10 months, 9 months, 8 months, 7 months, or 6 months after the termination of Executive’s employment with the Company.

Non-Competition Period is (a) the longer of the Executive's employment hereunder or time period which he serves as a director of the Company plus (b) a period of one (1) year thereafter.

Non-Competition Period has the meaning set forth in Section 9.1 hereof.

Non-Competition Period means the period commencing on the date hereof and expiring on the second anniversary of the date upon which the Executive ceases to be employed by the Company; and
