Non‐amplified definition

Non‐amplified stand‐alone instruments shall mean Keyboard instruments, Wind Instruments and String Instruments that do not use electricity or plug into any device designed to enhance the sound. Percussion instruments prohibited except Extra and Extra Plus licenses.  Non‐amplified vocalists shall mean a live human voice not amplified by electronic means.  Amplified instruments shall mean Keyboard instruments, Wind Instruments, String Instruments, Electronic Instruments, and Percussion Instruments. Either connected to a device designed to amplify the sound or not. Percussion instruments permitted.  Amplified Vocalists shall mean one that sings with the aid of electronic devices designed to amplify the human voice.  Disc Jockey shall mean one who plays music for dancing at a nightclub or party.  Karaoke shall mean a device that plays instrumental accompaniments for a selection of songs to which the user sings along.

The Design Criteria Package must specify performance- based criteria for the public construction project, including the legal description of the site, survey information concerning the site, interior space requirements, material quality standards, schematic layouts and conceptual design criteria of the project, cost or budget estimates, design and construction schedules, site development requirements, provisions for utilities, stormwater retention and disposal, and parking requirements applicable to the project. Design Criteria Packages shall require firms to submit information regarding the qualifications, availability, and past work of the firms, including the partners and members thereof.
