No Gratuities definition

No Gratuities. No gift, gratuity, credit, thing of value or compensation of any kind shall be offered or provided by Incumbent, directly or indirectly, to any officer, employee or official of either Party for the purpose of improperly obtaining or rewarding favorable treatment under this Agreement.

Examples of No Gratuities in a sentence

Related to No Gratuities

  • Gratuity means tendering, giving, or providing anything of more than nominal monetary value including, but not limited to, cash, travel, entertainment, gifts, meals, lodging, loans, subscriptions, advances, deposits of money, services, employment, or contracts of any kind. The exceptions set forth in the Governor’s Code of Conduct, Executive Order 1980-18, the 4 Pa. Code §7.153(b), shall apply.

  • Bribe means an inducement or reward offered, promised or provided in order to gain any commercial, contractual, regulatory or personal advantage; “to Bribe” and “Bribery” are construed accordingly.

  • Kickback, as used in this clause, means any money, fee, commission, credit, gift, gratuity, thing of value, or compensation of any kind which is provided to any prime Contractor, prime Contractor employee, subcontractor, or subcontractor employee for the purpose of improperly obtaining or rewarding favorable treatment in connection with a prime contract or in connection with a subcontract relating to a prime contract.

  • Gifts means, for purposes of this Policy, money, advances, personal services, gratuities, loans, extensions of credit, forgiveness of debts, memberships, subscriptions, travel, meals, charitable donations, refreshments, hospitality, promises, discounts or forbearance that are not generally available to members of the public. A Gift need not be intended to influence or reward an Employee.

  • Rebate shall have the same meaning as ascribed thereto in Article 10.3.4 of this Agreement;
