Active life of a facility means the period from the initial receipt of hazardous waste at the facility until the Agency receives certification of final closure.
Additional Financing means the sale by the Company of additional Units as contemplated by the registration statement on Form SB-2 filed by the Company with the SEC on September 13, 2006, as amended from time to time thereafter.
Short-rotation coppice means a specific management regime whereby the poles of trees are cut every one to two years and which is aimed at producing biomass for energy. It is exempt from the UK government timber procurement policy requirements and falls under agricultural regulation and supervision rather than forestry. The exemption only refers to short-rotation coppice, and not 'conventional' coppice which is forest management and therefore subject to the timber policy.
mixed financial holding company means a mixed financial holding company as defined in point (21) of Article 4(1) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013;
ZERO DATE means the date of issue of LETTER OF INTENT (LOI) or issue of WORK ORDER, whichever is earlier.
Aquatic life means all fish, reptiles, amphibians, crayfish, mussels, mollusks, and crustaceans.
Annuity Commencement Date means the first day of any month upon which an annuity begins under the Contract. However, for any Participant, this date shall not be later than the required beginning date as defined in the applicable sections of the Code and Regulations issued thereunder.
System Life means all phases of the system's development, production, or support.

Useful life means the relevant period of distance and/or time over which compliance with the relevant gaseous and particulate emission limits has to be assured.
Time Block means a time block of 15 minutes, for which specified electrical parameters and quantities are recorded by special energy meter, with first time block starting at 00.00 hrs;
designated sporting event generally means any association football match, whether national or international. The full legal definition of the different classes of designated sporting events may be found in the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Amendment) Order 2011, under Article 2(1) and 2(2) of Schedule 2.
Service life means the expected period of viable, technical and economic life of an asset;
Average Life Date means, for each Equipment Note to be redeemed, the date which follows the redemption date by a period equal to the Remaining Weighted Average Life at the redemption date of such Equipment Note. “Remaining Weighted Average Life” of an Equipment Note, at the redemption date of such Equipment Note, means the number of days equal to the quotient obtained by dividing: (i) the sum of the products obtained by multiplying (A) the amount of each then remaining installment of principal, including the payment due on the maturity date of such Equipment Note, by (B) the number of days from and including the redemption date to but excluding the scheduled Payment Date of such principal installment by (ii) the then unpaid principal amount of such Equipment Note.
Additional Financial Centre(s means the city or cities specified as such in the relevant Final Terms;
Investment Start Date : means 21 November 2014, or if such day is not a Scheduled Trading Day, the following day which is a Scheduled Trading Day.

Totally enclosed treatment facility means a facility for the treatment of hazardous waste which is directly connected to an industrial production process and which is constructed and operated in a manner which prevents the release of any hazardous waste or any constituent thereof into the environment during treatment. An example is a pipe in which waste acid is neutralized.
Distribution Commencement Date means the Issue Date or such other date as may be specified as the Distribution Commencement Date on the face of such Perpetual Security;
Assumed Final Maturity Date As to each Class of Certificates, the date set forth as such in the Preliminary Statement.
Alternative living arrangement means a structure in which households live in distinct bedrooms, yet share kitchen and plumbing facilities, central heat and common areas. Alternative living arrangements include, but are not limited to: transitional facilities for the homeless; Class A, B, C, D and E boarding homes as regulated by the State of New Jersey Department of Community Affairs; residential health care facilities as regulated by the New Jersey Department of Health; group homes for the developmentally disabled and mentally ill as licensed and/or regulated by the New Jersey Department of Human Services; and congregate living arrangements.
Traditional member of the National Guard or federal reserves means an active member of the Selected Reserve subject to mobilization and deployment for which he or she attends monthly and annual training periods.

Equity Listing Event means an initial public offering of shares in the Issuer, after which such shares shall be quoted, listed, traded or otherwise admitted to trading on a regulated market or unregulated market.
mixed-activity holding company means a parent undertaking, other than a financial holding company or an institution or a mixed financial holding company, the subsidiaries of which include at least one institution;
life cycle means all consecutive and/or interlinked stages, including research and development to be carried out, production, trading and its conditions, transport, use and maintenance, throughout the existence of the product or the works or the provision of the service, from raw material acquisition or generation of resources to disposal, clearance and end of service or utilisation;
